Hello, I’m not really into nail design/coloured nail polish, all I want is a clear coat to protect my nails from the elements and add a bit of thickness to my nails. Are nail strengtheners the better option ? I’d like to use the product like a nail polish, wearing it to my nails all the time. Is Sally Hansen nailgrowth miracle ok for that ? Any other product suggestions ? Thank you
Hi yes you can use it, but for everyday wear like what you want I usually recommend a simple clear top coat something from opi or sally hansen would work great, Nail strengtheners are more for short term use.
Oh okay ! What do you mean by short term use ? What would a schedule look like if I alternated between a strengthener and a clear top coat ? Mmmh overlay nails ? Sorry, I’m a complete novice when it comes to nails😅
@@aurelie5445 Thats ok, its not an exact science to be honest, something that works for 1 person wont for another thats why you find alot different info available, but generally nail strengtheners are recommended for those with thin and weak nails, if your nails are normal you dont need to use them, but I understand you just want to make them abit thicker and give them some protection which is why a regular top coat should be fine for you
