Looks like a well made and thought out vice, I like how it can be attached to various surfaces, instead of the usual stump vice, which can only be hammered into a bit of wood, or just used on what ever surface, only to slip around and wobble. Great to see how your promoting and offering it, well done chaps.
My Timbervise was delivered about a week ago and it’s great. Put it on a jig that I can clamp to my workbench. Sure it’s a bit more expensive that a classic stump vise but it’s ‘merican made. Support Made in the USA!
Great device Eric! 👍You got it right Jaden, guard your equipment! Who knows what mods those big guys might put on your saw if they get their hands on it?😊
Its hard to get enough torque on those thumb twist bolts (for my glass hands anyway) so I found by filing down slightly on the head of the bolt I can slip the spark plug side of a bar wrench over it and get a good bit without hurting my thumb. If Eric Strickland is reading, you can have that one gratis.
August, to secure the vise you need to either double nut (one locks against the other) or a Nylok nuts (Nylon insert in nut) or maybe Loktite as the way you’ve got it the nut will come loose
I like it it's nice but $40 I think is pretty steep just my opinion I have an Oregon one that sticks into a log it was 15 bucks love your products I've bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff from you guys
This video covers how to mount it, but not what it is good for. Why do we need this? Is it for transporting chainsaws, holding the saw when you sharpen the chain, storage, can I use it for added support on my chainsaw mill?
It's a $100,039 chipper now. And more useful. Teach him to sharpen the 2511t. When I was a kid, I learned to file and clean saws after I dragged and held wood for my father to cut all day. Then after hard freeze, I got to split all weekend and load it in the wood room (an old root cellar that held 3 or 4 face cords). I didn't hate it either. It's good for kids to get in the game early. I'm 59 now and it seems like yesterday. PS, you should put a nylock nut or something on that thumbscrew or it will vibrate out in transit or chipper vibration.
You know what would look sweet in that vice, a monkey beaver bar. Like they were made for each other.

Looks like it will do a great job there!!!
Jaden is the best. Thank you for sharing.

When will you guys have the petzl zigzag back in stock?
Has anyone on here mounted to the bed of your truck? If so, how did you do it? That could be another video lol
cool!
I wonder if Jaden was making chips like daddy?
Showing that boy right. Way better to be a chainsaw hugger than a tree hugger lol.

I wish AH would teach me how to sharpen my 2511t! That Panther chain is giving me fits. I’m pretty good on 3/8 but this little 1/4p is grrrrrrr.
Jaden got the newest saw from stihl i see
Is the Timbervise made of aluminum or steel?
Aluminum
