I have the okd Panther bar on my ported Echo 355T climbing saw. Absolutely love it, even though their older bars are rather soft. It cuts so well and that 16” balances like a 12” factory bar.
I'd like to convert a vintage echo CS-4000 (yes 4000) because I can't find a replacement bar. Would you have a kit for that saw? And very well done video - clear and concise!
Hi to get the number of drive links for 1/4" pitch chain, would you take the number of drive links for a 3/8" chain and multiply by 1.5? So that a 52 DL 3/8" pitch translates to a 78 DL 1/4"? The drive sprocket might be a different size, but adjustability should take care of that?
Do I need to purchase a different needle bearing for the 1/4 sprocket on a CS 2511? Also, I’m assuming you don’t have to change the worm drive on the cs2511 like you do on the Stihl?
Our kits don't come with new needle bearings as it's not necessary to change them, unless yours needs replaced due to age / wear. And no, you don't need to change a worm drive on your echo, the 1/4 pitch sprocket is all you need to change 👍
For the stihl panther kit - if I select 16in bar and “yes” on needing a sprocket - does that fit a 201tc? Just didn’t figure the 192-201 would all take the same sprocket and worm drive
RIP Jed Walters. 🙏
Only knowing him thru the screen it still hit me like a brick wall, all my thoughts an prayers to his family an loved ones, "i love you Jed"
I ordered a kit last week. Amazing customer service, fast shipping and great products. Can't go wrong.

Any felling belts in the future?
Def throw a little grease on the needle bearing at this point.
And don't forget to grease the oiler gear and needle barrier Please
Do you know if you can convert the echo e-fore top handle to quarter pitch yet?
What would a big saw on 1/4 pitch be like?
The bar / chain setup might not hold up to that added power, also, you probably wouldn't be able to find a 1/4 drive sprocket on a larger saw.

Yes it takes the same sprocket and worm drive. In fact, the sprocket and worm drive is exactly for the 201t, it just happens to fit all others
@@monkeybeaver626 sweeeet - thanks!
Will this fit an echo CS 330t ?
Do you have a kit for a 540t gas not electric.
No sorry, we don't. Haven't yet found any 1/4 drive sprockets for them
So this will fit a stihl 194t ok
Thanx
Part number?
