i flew Emirates on their A380 from Sydney to Bangkok last year. I was really impressed. The plane is awesome, the staff are lovely and the food on Emirates was really good, especially for a Economy meal!

@@airline.spotter/ Thanks. I actually took a flight with Emirates last year but I passed on the upper deck. My understanding is that not all the A380 have Economy upper deck seating, only the A380 Two Class. I will be watching for that.

A380s and Emirates never fail to impress! What a great cabin, and such a HUGE IFE screen. But the enormous bathroom impressed me the most, mile-high club members would definitely enjoy that hahaha. And on a curious note, how long does it take to board everyone in an A380? Great video as always!
yeah! They're amazing! ahahaha definitely! Emirates boardings are super efficient, so it takes 30min approx.
Not only Emirates but every A380 operator. My last flight to Bangkok I took QATAR AIRWAYS (Im a Emirates frequent flyer) and they put 3 tubes to get passenger in the plane.

Definitely the window seat, the side storage on the upper deck is a massive bonus. Otherwise if you're on the lower deck I'll go for the aisle seat

Nice review bro 😎 :) the last time I flew with them was 2017 and the upper deck on their A380 was all-business class (FRA-DXB-FRA) so I’ve got no chance to seat on the upper deck on their economy seat :)
No emirates a380 has an upper deck with only business class. Its either First and Business or Economy and Business

How was the boarding and de-planing process like? Did they let the business passengers on/off the plane first and then economy passengers (on upper deck) ?
yep! They're blocking eco passenger until every business pax disembarks

If you wait 48 hours before departure you can book a seat on economy upper deck free of charge if available. Quite a few window seats still available when I booked mine this morning Dub - Bkk

No... It's not accessible for eco passengers
Impressive to see that the economy section on the upper deck is in the front of the plane and not in the back like with AFR. Which is also why i think that is the reason you had such a huge toilet, because that was where the First class toilets were.

Yeah some A380 have an economy section on the upper deck, you can select seat during check or while booking depending on your ticket fare
Yes you can book upper deck but it costs £60 per seat
Why they don’t have upper deck economy from Los Angeles to Dubai and vice versa. ☹️
It depends on the needs of the route. I guess there's more First / Business clients so less economy seats to offer

No, chose my seat during booking. for free ;)
It depends on your ticket. If you buy an Economy Saver, you will have to pay extra during booking or wait 48 hours before departure for free seats. Of course, there is no guarantee you will get any free seats by then. If you don't want to take a chance, pay extra for your preferred seat. Aisle seat: 45 Euros, Twin pack seat: 70 Euros. You only live once!!

No, I think it costs the same as a lower deck ticket. When you reserve your seat, just make sure to locate the upper deck chart.
