- Richard Rankin and Sophie Skelton play Roger and Brianna in the great drama show Outlander. They usually give interviews together and when they do, there is always something to make you laugh or just say: adorable. I put together a few of my favourite moments between them during interviews promoting the show. I hope you like it.

I get the feeling that Richard likes Sophie and she knows that and finds him calling her pretty all the time too much. Unfortunately, it means she doesn’t bounce off his banter well. Richard is a great actor and he’s been so good for the show - if he chilled on the compliments I’m sure their chemistry would be better

Ary no, Roger's 5 times grand father is Dougal's child, who would be Jamie's first cousin. Bree would be 2nd cousin to Roger's ancestral grand father. Bree & Roger would be cousins 4-6 times removed.

I don’t think she has any chemistry with anyone in Outlander. Her character as Breanne takes me right out of the story and its hard to believe she’s Jamie and Claire’s child.
I agree actually. I couldnt quite feel those two on-screen. 😊 but he has a good presence in other movies just not this one. I think it's because he played the passivist and in other movies he plays the alpha or leading role and it just comes across better.
I'm not that into her being Brianna. Not that great an actress compared to his acting and they definitely don't have the chemistry that Jamie and Claire have. I guess they'll do.
Patti Billerbeck I feel the same. He’s such a great actor and I really believe that his character loves Brianna. Brianna is a sweet character but Sophie’s expressions feels very theatrical and not very authentic. Compared to the other great actors in the show she’s not the best.
I agree. Sophie’s acting technique is better suited for the Lifetime channel or teen pop shows. Just saying

I don't like her character either. She led Roger on for years. A plane ticket from Scotland to Boston cost a lot in the 1960s, and then when Roger surprised her, she says, "Oh, I'm going out, we'll hang out sometime." She turns down his wedding proposal, she just wanted sex and he's old fashioned. He follows her through time, they get hand fast, and she tells him to leave. He didn't tell her about the fire her parents would be in because he wanted to save her from suffering. Then he takes so much punishment for actually leaving, when the next morning she found he took her seriously. She was stupid enough to follow a man like Bonnet into a room alone. Then Jamie and Ian sell him to the Indians. I would have gone back to my own time and found someone normal. She's so immature and self centered. And cold. It's hard to watch the love scenes.
