As a mouse owner, I wanted to ask you how else would we get valuable research data? Not to mention save billions of lives and further improve standards. It might seem cruel but to me what's more cruel is trying to take away from its positive influence

Any biology or neuroscience course eventually discusses procedure on how these kinds of discoveries are made, in the scientific world, barring very specific cases, mistreating lab animals is not viewed as the norm.
