Batocera 35 really is a big update, so many great features. HyperspaceMadness (MegaBezels creator) and duimon the beautiful bezels for every system makes Batocera so much better than other front ends. I stopped using BigBox once I tried Batocera. So many pluses. I feel bad for people who still use Retropie lol Maybe a comparison of Batocera vs Retropie could be a good video.

I just hacked my countercade from one up and some games are decent some are terribly slow like Supermario world for snes. But I assumed its just software on top of the hardware. or am I confusing myself?
@@jfitnesshealth Yes Batocera is the operating system that runs on the hardware. It can run on a number of single board computers including the Raspberry Pis. However to get the most out of Batocera, I highly encourage you to run it off a PC. Not only is it faster, but you will have access to many more emulators including the higher end emulators. On the Steam Deck, it can even handle Switch emulation.

There are many problems when I use an external disk with a black screen and the ps3 emulator does not run games even though I followed all the steps. Thank you.

This has been a great update from Batocera 35, however, there seems to be an issue with Yabasanshiro emulator. When the emulator starts, the audio is more or less consistent but the logo screen takes a dip in frame rate. Then when I play some of the games, this issue persists, even with some tweaking on the menu. This was not a problem in the previous version of Batocera. I was wondering if there's a way to fix this issue.
Will/could there be FM Towns emulation implemented in the next version(v36) of Batocera..? Also wondering if the games would run any good on a PS5000 then..🤔 Anyways that would be more than fantastic! 🤤
Great video I've been patiently awaiting your batocera 35 video since the update dropped. I am however having HEAPS of trouble with wiimote controllers, seems like they pair into "light gun mode" by default, meaning they no longer control the Batocera menu, and additionally it looks like 3rd party wii more drivers were removed, meaning they're not just a lesser choice, they're almost non functional, disconnecting within seconds. Any thoughts or tips?
@@BatoceraNation in using a Wii bar, as you had mentioned in your batocera 35 preview video that the dolphin bar would no longer be the preferred means of connecting. To be clear, light gun works flawlessly, it's wii mote mode that is being troublesome
If you have a Dolphin Bar, try setting your WiiMote from there. It might be that Wiibar might be better for lightgun games and Dolphin Bar for regular Wii games. Although I got it working on my Wiibar. Might be that your WiiMote is generic. I had a generic one too and it did not work as expected. But for the time being try a Dolphin Bar if you have one.
Rg552 v35 build can't play Nintendo DS. The emulator aren't present. Also the build is dated 20220911. the rockpro64 build is from 20220921.. and its the same chip
Steam is having issues, something about a flatpak update causing issues. From the discord it seems that they may stop officially supporting it since its a lot to maintain. I had it running and it stopped using my gpu following the 35 update. Now it doesn't boot up at all
Hi, do you know why I don't have "advanced system options" when I go into the settings menu but do have "advanced game options?" Like I'm on the Crash Bandicoot game in the PS1 section and don't get the option there or on any other system I've checked.

Here's all the info on all the light guns added to Batocera 35 * add: gun support in emulationstation * add: support for aimtrak lightgun out of the box * add: support for ae lightgun out of the box * add: add virtual dolphinbar (dolphinbar is no longer needed, only a simple wiibar) * add: wiimote calibration (the wiimote is now precise and can be used as a gun without drawing the target on screen ; press home button for 3s to calibrate) * add: sinden gun support. Borders are automatically added to bezels. * add: guncon support (as any other gun to any system supporting guns) * add: mame standalone udev gun driver.

For a while now, the automatic lightgun collection doesn't pick up all the games. For example, the Wii platform is not detecting any game for me, despite the fact that in the game information (labels), I have lightgun marked. and also, he has put other games in me, which have nothing to do with them, action or sports games... I did a new installation of batocera to test, I have reviewed configurations, and I do not find the error. Previously, this automatic collection detected well 90% of the titles written as lightgun. Is it worth to upgrade to Batocera v36 Beta from v35..? And if so is the Beta stable? I have a PS5000 handheld. There seem to be some mapping problems on Batocera v35 for it..
I have a PS7000 and the last stable build release for that is. V34 but Im using v35 beta. I suggest if you have a spare sd card flash v36 beta to that and create a small test build. If all is OK update your main card. Btw, try remapping your buttons in the controller settings. I had issues on the PS7000 with buttons and controls too but simply remapping fixed it.
V35 is now in release candidate form cause I see v36 beta is now available. Did a quick test but I woulnt recommend updating to that one yet. Has issues. Use v35.

Hi my mini pc specs is and ryzen 3 2200g with 16gb ram..can it play smooth swictch games? Or needs fix of some high end games? I am playibg crisis core reunion using yuzu it needs better fix cause it lags in some battle scene..whats better fix?
I just upgraded from 34 to 35 stable and it broke batocera all emulators including kodi just exit to main batocera menu. I think it's a driver issue with nvidia and my gtx970
@@robertrmdgaming4374 i refreshed my usb stick and still cannot get any emulators to work or even kodi. Seems the config files are conflict on my external hard drive where my roms are located. I even deleted my system folder same thing. And yeah bios sets for v.35 are installed I e en rested no missing files

Sounds suspicious that they might stop supporting it. It was working fine until their latest update. They might want us to adopt SteamOS instead of using anything else.

I'm not too clear since I don't own one. I assume there is an adapter to connect to PC system running Batocera. From there go to the main menu and set it up in Bluetooth and Controllers.
One of the devs said on the discord that they have no intention of putting yuzu on Batocera officially since they don't want to implement emulation of current gen systems. Anything you find is going to be third party, so your results will vary
After you install the Bios, you can experiment with the new built-in settings for best results. If you have a newer graphics card, it should be more of the box since you won't need to tweak the settings. Tweaking is more for weaker systems.
I'm having constant issues with using 2 switch controllers. On Wii u, 1 controller is fine but when I do local co-op the second controller stops input randomly or it is slow input. Anyone else have that issue?
Thanks for the reply, it was an adapter issue. 8bitdo I read in reviews on Amazon you need 1 adapter per controller which is annoying. It couldn't handle my two switch controllers on my bt400 Asus adapter so I now use 1 Asus adapter for switch controller and 1 PS3 mayflash adapter for PS3 controller
exist a form to get a old version of batocera? because i have a old pc with 4000 hd graphics and 4 gb of ram, the last version have so much problems just for a group of people, flatpak crash, steam, steam link in just open a app works like for a 10 seconds and crash and dont runs correctly :/, but other aplications like firefox,openarena works as it should be, others persons in github have the same problem in diferents forms and just we have to wait a fast fix sadly, i have to move to windows to play and its a shit for emulate games, anybody knows a solution?

Batocera is the best ALL-IN-ONE for EMU. Competition is wiped out, no need comparison.

haven't watched your whole vid yet, but switch does not work for me in BAT 35.
I re-downloaded switch files, installed, and it still does not work. I had to go back to BAT 34. Any ideas?

Check the rom folders.

Plug the sinden in and away you go, I did it with mine.

they still havent included the option to DISABLE=skip duplicate frames on Dolphin, despite taking it all the way to developers on discord!!!

Unfortunately, you can't change the default buttons or even some of the default settings.

There is a way to do it in Windows but it's hard to explain. Hub is easier for now.

Yuzu is not part of Batocera, there is a unofficial source.. and its actually working really good on v35. 😂

One of the devs said on the discord that they have no intention of putting yuzu on Batocera officially since they don't want to implement emulation of current gen systems. Anything you find is going to be third party, so your results will vary

In v35 is ps3 setup to go out of the box?
After you install the Bios, you can experiment with the new built-in settings for best results. If you have a newer graphics card, it should be more of the box since you won't need to tweak the settings. Tweaking is more for weaker systems.

I'm having constant issues with using 2 switch controllers. On Wii u, 1 controller is fine but when I do local co-op the second controller stops input randomly or it is slow input. Anyone else have that issue?
mmm, i think its a problem of bluetooth o the emulator
the true you can to buy like a adapter like a 8bitdo adapter to fix that problem, but its just in the case if you dont find the solution
Thanks for the reply, it was an adapter issue. 8bitdo I read in reviews on Amazon you need 1 adapter per controller which is annoying. It couldn't handle my two switch controllers on my bt400 Asus adapter so I now use 1 Asus adapter for switch controller and 1 PS3 mayflash adapter for PS3 controller

Neo Geo games stopped working with v35. I didn't try it with v34 so have gone back to v33 as I had a backup.
I think you need to update your rom set for v35.
I had no issues when I updated to v35
Neogeo and Negogeo CD still work as before for me.

exist a form to get a old version of batocera? because i have a old pc with 4000 hd graphics and 4 gb of ram, the last version have so much problems just for a group of people, flatpak crash, steam, steam link in just open a app works like for a 10 seconds and crash and dont runs correctly :/, but other aplications like firefox,openarena works as it should be, others persons in github have the same problem in diferents forms and just we have to wait a fast fix sadly, i have to move to windows to play and its a shit for emulate games, anybody knows a solution?
