One gripe with this car is the lack of lumbar support in the front seats in the higher end Civics. Not sure why Honda left that important comfort feature out after making so many good improvements for 2016.
You know.. I come here again and again just to listen to Chuck's voice and how amzingly he describes the car. :) Your way of talking is so smooth amd you make it sound so easy Sir. Thumps up to Chuck Giametta. Thankyou for such an excellent review.
Nice review and I recognized the Colorado Springs area that you were driving in. I noticed you were driving in the Garden of the Gods and I also recognized Cheyenne Mountain in the background. I used to go to CS quite often years ago when my friends lived there and I know the city fairly well. And yes, I was considering an Accord but that may be much more car than I need and I plan to give this Civic Touring a test drive, too.
CORRECTION: The 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine in the 2016 Civic EX-T, EX-L and Touring models makes 174 horsepower. A graphic in this review incorrectly lists it at 147 horsepower. CarPreview apologizes for the error.
I test drove the 2016 Honda EX-T and EX-L and didn't like it one bit. I chose to stay with just the EX trim. It works for me. It's not a luxury car but takes you where on needs to go. The Mazda is a better bet for people that can afford the price. Since that is not an option for me, I got the Honda EX in Black. I just wish the dealer had more colors they didn't at the time for this specific trim. DO your research....and then buy! It's definitely bigger..but not exactly quiet..there is some noise.
I absolutely hate this 2016 civic design what was honda thinking of when making this 16 design the 2014, 2015 models looked way better then this new crapy design and i could say im not buying civics anymore im happy with my 2014 civic si
+Emilio Valdez The 8th and 9th generation Civic's short and sloped hood looks like traffic cones on wheels. This generation the Civic is back to normal.

I was driving my friends civic today and i actually like the two tier dashboard!
That was great review of the new civic. Makes me want to buy one.
Great review, one of the best on RUclips.. really professional video.. two thumps up
The only thing I dislike about the new civic are the headlights. I wish they were LEDs on all trims.

Near 30k for a Civic is straight bananas!
much hype here--drove an EX-L yesterday and was very unimpressed with the ride, drive and noise level. I've had 2 Civics--2010 and 2013...
Like the first half of the car. Not so sure about the tail end. Wish it had a traditional trunk.
Do the hatchback review
in your video you say the turbo motor only makes 147hp.. i think that is the wrong power figure...
+GOBbluthagain You are right on that. It produces 174 HP if my memory is correct and I also noticed his mistake.
That civic is definitely not a small car
Great car
no 2 seat memory in the front seat...would have been nice
there's no info on the next si's numbers yet
+Kelvin Dao No Si insight I believe 'till 2017!
$27k for a Civic? Man ...
Son, this is not a compact car!

It looks like a fuckin hashback just look at the back like what the hell is that all i got to say i like those rims but the car nope it sucks dick
+Emilio Valdez sorry the 2014 looks like ass. This is a much better design. More muscular body style, and not a dash board meant for children.
+chadg12420 well it sucks so much dick mostley they were recalled the 16 civic the 14 no problems
So bland to look at
