To anyone watching this now, stay away from the 1.5L engine. The Direct injection and use of a turbocharger has proven to be less reliable than without them.
Honda logic. remember when you complained about not having a volume knob? we listened! it's only available in the base model? what's that? you want the higher trim with more features but want the knob? I'm sorry you're going to have to choose lol but this is a compelling car overall love it
Honda is better than Toyota. Toyota always felt cheaply built but Honda always had better quality built into their cars. I'm a Honda and Acura person myself. Love all the standard features this car has to offer. Excellent car review!
This review felt a little empty... She used big, fancy words to describe the car and it's features but we saw little to none of them nor any examples. Didn't see the trunk for how spacious the car is.... The rear seats look cramped... The drive test showed absolutely nothing. Also the DX/LX model have Port Injection and not Direct Injection. It's the EX+ models that have Direct Injection, unless you got feature updates or are showing a different model? I do not think the car lives up to the praise it got in this video.

Back then i was looking to impress chicks cause i was young. now im content with civic LX which i bought today but disappointed no CD player and no side view lane camera which is important
The econo button is useless. It wastes more gas to push the gas harder for it to just move. It's slow like a snail. I know it's supposed to do that, but I've gotten the same or better gas mileage with it off. I like to to use Econ the most on 95.

I'm an express tech at Darrell Waltrip Honda and I wanted to see more of the interior on the LX Civic as opposed to the underside of it! ;) definitely beats my gf's Kia Forte base model! I'm absolutely sold on this! (Wanted a manual transmission, and it's only available on the LX, but with these standard options, I can deal with not having a touch screen!)

Nah, 9th generation was the best, don't like how they got rid of the two tier instrument panel, and the tail lights look horrible like the 2012 civics. Looks like a hatchback instead of a civic. I love my 2013 Civic EX, top of the line baby!

We have a 5 inch touch display with Android auto & Apple CarPlay. It's really unpleasant that touch volume, and even on the sterring wheel it's not very practical.
In the Canadian market, people expect the best quality at the lowest price! Every Civic has those features exept the DX. That Civic is the most basic Civic, doesn’t even have AC

Great Review. I have been looking at purchasing a more fuel efficient vehicle as I have had a Nissan Pathfinder for the last few years and I have about a 60 mile commute to work. I am surprised with all of the features that I can get on the base model. I concur with a lot of the other viewers in that I appreciate you reviewing the LX base model because a lot of the other RUclips videos are on the higher level trims. Thanks again.
Great video Laura. Would you do a video on the Civic Coupe when it is available? Not the turbo but the 2 liter engine. Since Honda never had a turbo I am concerned there will be bugs to work out the first year and I don't think you will get the longevity out of a turbo that you can out of a normally aspirated engine. Your thoughts.
That is a tough decision. Just think how many times people are going to have to sit in the back. If its mostly never then i would consider the coupe. I love the rear tail lights on the coupe. -HL

FALSE INFORMATION ALERT. 2:08, the 2.0 liter engine is NOT DIRECT INJECTION, it is a port injection engine. The 1.5 has direct injection.
