I really love how carefully it’s showed that in the battle with Dedan one addon rips his head off, in the battle with Janet two addons tear off her wings and in the battle with Enoch three addons rush straight into his face, this animation is full of wonderful details and it’s top notch!

It is genuinely a great experience, and probably one of the greatest influences on indie RPG's, especially The Really Good Ones.
i have but getting into the game is kinda weird. Since its not a steam game or on any popular platform. Finding the game files in your language is weird. definitely recommend to play it. But maybe look up of few videos on how to download it

I've rewatched this a few times now and i just started to think that little me would have lost their mind if they saw this, my love for OFF and all the art the fans make has never dwindled and that really makes me feel content to know i haven't lost that part of me
This wasn't just a Home Run. This was a god damn Grand Slam! The style itself is certainly distinct, but what really gets me is how it almost seems like they're those classical wooden puppets. The 2d ones that have their joints moved by sticks or strings or what have you. Exceptional work, my friend. I've not been dazed by an art style in a while.
Just completed OFF, i don't know what to say. This is third free game with depressing ending ive played (Cry of Fear, Afraid of Monsters, and of course OFF). Whoever reading this, you should play OFF, play it only by yourself, dont use RUclips walkthroughs if you got stuck in some part of game, think harder and you will find your way. Some parts of game are confusing and frustrating but you will get through. Switch is now OFF, thank you for introducing me to this piece of art.
i am eating up all OFF content anyways, but this is just peak. I feel like people often forget that OFF is actually a deep and creepy game, even if it doesn't seem like it, and you showed it really well. Wonderful work
I really love the style! The exotic colors, the decision to give The Batter little claws, and the usage of a real hand when The Batter crushes a spectre.. The add-on idea is genius, but what caught my attention even before that was the way you animated it! How you separated the sprites and moved them, it really reminds me of the old Soviet cartoon "Adventures of Captain Wrongel". It always seemed eerie and bizarre to me, which isn't far off with my experience with OFF. The nature of OFF is captured well with this artistic choice. Adds this certain flavor that makes my heart flutter :)
Still have not actually watched or played anything related to the actual plot of this game but every single time an artist makes anything about it it's always the best

The author itself are open for it, neither confirm or deny certain theories, so there no "full canon" of it. Anyway the most common theory plot is the batter (the one with baseball bat) is assigned with the duty of "purifying" the world. You, the player is identified as different entity from this world, acknowledged by both Batter himself and Zacharie (merchant). Your duty is help or guide Batter in fulfill his mission. In this world, there are a lot of spectres aka ghosts you see in the video, they're evil and harmful to the people. As you go on your journey, you must kill each big boss guardian of the zones (in order of this video: Dedan (Z1), Japhet (Z2) and Enoch(Z3)). However, as you go on, you realized the "purification" of the zones means eliminating the whole zone/world as a whole. As "purify" means to leave nothing to exist at all. However the world itself already corrupt by its own guardian (Dedan by his tyrant dictatorship, Japhet with god complex while Enoch with selfish for his factory) so technically you're putting it out misery sooner,right? Anyway, as you eliminating each zone, you arrive at the last room, where you're going flashback to stories of Hugo, the baby in the video. It's established that he was sick, his more fond of his mother more than his dad, possibility the batter himself. As you venture, you realized that this world is made up from Hugo mind, grow from innocent wish from having friends (guardians) now corrupted and dying slowly to spectres. As you reach the end, you battle with the Queen, potentially the mother of Hugo. So they kinda have a divorce battle(to death) and Batter wins, leaving everything purified. By the way, by all this journey, Batter remain stoic and doesn't care of anyone. He shown no remorse in killing everything in his way, focused 100% on his mission, and his mission only. So the ends begins, you have to kill Hugo. He sits there, coughing,crying, unable to run away. But batter need a mission to settle. And you must help him. It's your duty. It's your duty to purify the world. It's the right thing to do. And you did it. You kill a sick child, a baby. Then it's opened to the last room, where the "switch" is present. Before Batter could turn it OFF, the judge(a cat we met in zero zone), confront us two, berating upon our reckless and merciless behavior. Batter doesn't care anyway so determined to end it all for good. Then we the player, can pick a side whether to be with batter or with The Judge. If you sided with The Judge, the batter is killed, however he soon roaming lonely in the empty world, as everything is purified. If you sided with batter, The Judge is killed, the batter would remark "Escaping your purpose is impossible". Then the batter would turn the switch OFF, destroying the world as a whole. TLDR: Batter kills everything in it's path for the idea of greater good. Whether it's true or not it's debatable upon your views and interpretation. He still a murderer though.

Also the fantranslation has a few errors at key points that muddle the meaning of the game so if you speak French, use the French version, which is the original. If you don't and are watching an analysis, make sure they mention the translation hiccup when they discuss the endings.
i swear to god i was just roaming the OFF fandom and i thought it's quite intresting (expect the batteries shiping...) and then i went around looked for more information cause i just can't get enough of these type of games, they don't capture you with stupidley big graphices or cool cutcense i really like it when the game just give you a punch to the gut type of story that is got a great building and a great world to roam around with simingley no ending for mysteries , the funny part i just finished playing OFF myself after it i opend youtube and i've seen this vidoe this is just awesome to see a fandom still alive after a long time trust me on this , if you wanna found a great game/fandom go to the old games cause games nowdays are straight as* (i let out the boomer inside of me lol)
