Amazing video!! In my view, Qeshm island has great potential to attract tourists from all over the world!! I hope after the regime change in Iran, we develop this region to attract tourists.
Thanks! Agree that Qeshm and the other islands nearby have great potential and I’d love to come back some day and spend more time in the area. The islands were one of the highlights of my trip and felt very far removed from Tehran. Hormuz was incredible too and that’s coming up in the next video on Sunday.
Something I'm always fairly cautious with, I'm no history expert and simply learn while I travel. Sometimes I'm told the wrong thing and sometimes there's differing opinions on the history. If those make it into videos then guaranteed some will comment in a negative way, but that's the nature of it - You've got to have a thick skin to put yourself and your hard work online. Either way, the next video on Sunday has to be fairly history heavy as in a large part it's about Persepolis. Hope I did a decent job on such an important historical sight. Anyway thanks again for your support!
Thanks! Yes I did look at that, but it didn't work for my itinerary, flying into Marrakech and out of Fes. It would seem to be more interesting than backtracking on day 3 though if it works for you.
My trip was arranged all together, as it has it be for a British passport holder to get the visa. So I payed an agreed amount for guide, transport and accommodation. Total for 24 days came to somewhere around $2800
@@ChrisKermis Sounds like a fair price compared to most other destinations around the world. Of course if you are from countries with no restrictions travelling around Iran, and can arrange your itinerary independently the costs would be considerably lower than that. Generally Iran is a very cheap destination to travel in. Ps, if you're a foreign national (including UK/US) and have an Iranian friend, ask their family in Iran to apply for you a visiting visa as a family friend; that way, normally you wouldn't be subjected to government restrictions.
@@ChrisKermis and visit Tabriz and google kandovan, too. usually tourist visit Iran atleast twice bevause nice people so I am sure soon or late you will come back to visit Iran again
well done , it's been always Persian gulf , it's Persian gulf and will stay Persian gulf

Beautiful
It was an amazingly different side of the country!
Thanks for your vlog of Morocco. Very interesting.
I'm wondering...did you consider going on to Fez instead of back to Marracech?

I invite you to My homeland , Mazandaran 🤗
Hopefully some day I can return to Iran!
Namakdaan translates to salt shaker (or anything that contains salt)
Ah, I didn’t know that!
how much does the tour cost?

@@kr22100 Very fair I thought, and aside from the bad timing it was an amazing trip. Interesting idea about visiting as a family friend.
