Thanks man I am ready too haha! Had some setbacks with parts not coming in time and they were wrong twice (UGHHH, hate that) so I had to jump back on the bikes before the warm weather came! Getting A TON done this week though, this weekend I am gonna edit part 5! Got the head on, intake manifold on with other little bits and will do the exhaust manifold and some little bits today too! Only got the cams, lifters and timing after today!
Hi Joshua, thanks for the kind words! Please take a moment to subscribe if you haven't already! Congrats on your Reno project! I always love to hear people taking this job on their own, ours has been a great little DD the past year and sounds like you will be on the road in no time yourself!! Don't forget the 2008 needs a separate more expensive EGR gasket!
Thank you so much for the kind words, please take a moment to subscribe if you haven't already, so you don't miss the rest of the series! The car has been running for about 10 days now, I just need to finish editing! I am editing the next part of this as I type to you actually! I will post part 6 tomorrow and part 7 (final vid) this week!
Haha close! It's a Bear! I mean that's what we call our black dog bear haha! He's a total farm dog, always outside checking perimeter for intruders lol.
Hi Jcabrera, please take a moment to subscribe if you haven't already! Luckily for me, I haven't had to tear any further into one of these motors past the head gasket and supporting maintenance. I can however link you to a free "ALL DATA" type website to help guide you through the job! You may need to go back from my link and edit the year of your vehicle but this site is awesome! Thank you so much for these thorough videos and making them easy for me to understand. I'm replacing the head gasket on my 2008 suzuki reno.
