6:21 Basically only characters with a prestige color icon can be the Master.
7:11 The first player may not change the positions of any characters at the end of their first turn.
15:36 The Spy actually has a blue icon, it's a typo on the prototype.
18:20 No, it was Jen's turn!!
24:58 No... her Spy is already in play in slot 11.
25:23 "My princess is safe." His princess is directly across from Jen's assassin!

After you roll, just put the dice either above or below the column to indicate whose turn it is and DON'T TOUCH THEM until you're done! xD
The characters in the Japanese version make a lot more thematic sense and are better looking. The only plus to the English version is that all the characters look different.

Thanks for this video. I just got my Kickstarter copy today! I think a 1st player token would be helpful. You made me laugh so hard when you said your Princess was safe.....from the Assassin~ haha :)

I wonder if this would work with a D12 variant where the probabilities are more even and maybe the 1 face could be a wild.
that would certainly be an interesting variant, though it would really mess with the core of the game, which is about maneuvering your currently most important characters to the center so they're more likely to activate

I wonder what the differences to Stefan Feld's "Revolte in Rom" (2005) might be... Besides the illustrations, of course.

If you like this game but want to try something with less luck, try Outlaws: Last Man Standing. It's like chess with bluff.

"Jen" rolled the 3 at the 17:00 mark, and then "she" didn't get to reposition.
Shouldn't the master be either the assassin or the sniper, thus increasing the chances of killing the opponent's princess? Why on earth did you choose the noble to be your master?
because going for a win via resource collection is a viable strategy, and if that's youre goal, the banker is more powerful than the others because it *always* does something useful, while the other two often don't really help your agenda when they activate
this game seems like a luckfest. random events occuring for 30 minutes. and why would u never put the princess on 2 or 12 ?
because the princess must start in the center at 7, and also, in the early game, she's your most powerful piece that give you the most control over the simulation, so activating her is key.
I'm lost.... how is the assassin in the 6th slot... unless I can't count

I spent 30 euros on this garbage, I absolutely hate it. It's too complicated for my students (not because it's a complex game but because it's too fussy and there are too many special abilities) and luck dependant.
Rahdo do you know all the sum probablities of 2 6-face dice by head? I was impressed of you saying that the getting a 6 was more likely than 9, when getting a 6 is just 2,7% more likely than 9!!
you dont have to know the exact odds, just know that 7 is the most likely, then 6 or 8 have the same odds, then 5 and 9, then 4 and 10 and so on

You are right never memorized the probabilities like that, i guess playing dice game also gives you that experience and mental shortcuts. TY
