I was brought here from watching AGT tonite on tv, a young boy sang this song - quite awesome, I may add. This Sara vocalist is strong and soft and the same time, how come she is not dominating the charts with her vocal and writing capabilities???? Watching from Alliance, OH USA

There are many crazy people who prefer giving more fame to The Weeknd and Getty Wap, who in reality use auto tune and a lot of other effects for their voices. That's something that really pisses me off. Bruno Mars, Adele, and Sara Bareilles are really amazing and talented.

Sara B. has perfect pitch-among other things-, Taylor Swift is autotune all the way. Unfortunately, most of today’s talent is autotune all the way. It’s very rare to find someone with perfect pitch, great song writing capabilities, The wit and personality to entertain a crowd between songs so fantastically, as well as being beautiful and able to touch the soul of everyone in her audience, not just the young people or the old people or women or men. Everyone. It used to be that you had to have talent to make it in the music industry, but unfortunately that is no longer true. Autotune ruined the music industry and turned it into a musical playboy magazine or teen vogue if you will. It’s no longer about heart and soul, talent and personality, it’s about how hot you are and how well you can Twerk your butt. I recommend that all of you younger generations go back in time, musically speaking, and listen to the difference between say Etta James and Taylor Swift. Or The difference between Janis Joplin, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Patsy cline and vs Taylor Swift. Then come back and tell me how talented Taylor Swift is. She can’t truly compete with REAL talent.

Pitch perfect. I know many covers of this song, and they are also amazing on interpreting and giving the emotion. But the credit is to this amazing lady who wrote an emotional song. I think it's easy to give the right amount of emotion for a very beautiful and heartfelt lyrics that she wrote.
I find myself here all too often the creation of musical lyrical emotion has so much feeling and power that feeds the hunger and void of time.

Jessie Mueller puts her entire soul into singing this song every time and never fails to blow me away. To some extent I prefer to hear Jessie Sing this song because of her strong acting chops.
