Jason Lee Scott was the first ranger in the entire story of the Power Rangers franchise and was also the first leader in all of history. In addition to being the Red Ranger, he was also the Gold Ranger in the season of Power Rangers Zeo and has also appeared in other episodes of other seasons. He was part of the special episode Once and Always and has been an important character in the comics using the power of the Red Omega Ranger.
Power Rangers is an American television series and franchise of the tokusatsu genre, version of Super Sentai Series, a Japanese television series of the same genre. It has been broadcast since 1993. From 2002 to 2009, the franchise was owned by The Walt Disney Company, but was reacquired in 2010 by Haim Saban, its creator and original driving force between Mighty Morphin and Wild Force (the latter created early in production before the sale of Saban Entertainment to Disney). On May 1, 2018, it was confirmed that the franchise was bought by Hasbro.

Jason is the overall best Ranger and leader. The actor who played him doesn’t take away from the actual character. Jason Lee Scott is the man.
Jason's still holds the title as the #1 most popular red ranger ever lived & I agree. He does look good with the dragon shield on his chest alongside dragon dagger also he was great as the gold ranger as well👍😊😉.

You know something. Say what you want about my hero. Jason and the others as well. Things happen in life and you know what. Just because he did one bad thing you're going to hate on him forever for that. Not only did he play a power ranger but he was also a medic soldier and you know what. Yeah he might have gotten into some trouble but you know what? Doesn't everybody get into trouble every now and then. Do you learn from your mistakes? Guess what guys? That's my specialty I recommend all of you guys take the hero path instead of the villain path. You won't learn anything. If you take the villain path, I recommend you all take the hero path considering that mighty Morphin power rangers of all shows is inspired to be a hero no matter what the cost. He didn't defeat Tommy, he just broke up a sword! Besides, noone has ever beat the quantity of enemies and saved the earth as much as Tommy and Adam did!

@@richieave55That was not a defeat at all, Tommy was brainwashed and couldn't think clearly. He was sweeping the floor with the other five rangers, and they needed 5 episodes so the useless Jason could break up a magic sword. Come on! Besides, even if that was considered a defeat, it doesn't make him better at all after all the things Tommy achieved along the tv serie. Jason hasn't done nothing for 30 years!!
