    Really helpful video. I'm still learning the game so I have to pause and read a lot to figure out how and why things are happening, but great to see gameplay of Prism since it's so hard to find for some reason.

      GGs to you as well! I’m always looking for more Prism practice ✨ feels like there’s still a lot we can both learn about the matchup

    26:42 I think the correct play would have been block with celestial, pitch 2 genesis for genesis in the arsenal, arsenal the merciful.

  • @shamusj

    Great to watch! Do you think you should have played the second genesis from arsenal at 26:57? Or was there a good reason to keep it in arsenal?

    Thanks for helping me get better with Prism! Have you tested Lumina Lance in place of Cataclysm? I’m toying with the idea of it, haven’t got around to testing yet. Interested to hear your thoughts on the card.

    • @onhiteffect
      @onhiteffect  9 месяцев назад +1

      I think having a nonzero number of 7 power poppers is still important for the mirror in a post-Dromai world, especially because you can rebirth Cataclysm back. The rate on Lumina Lance with all three modes is incredible, but soul is soooo valuable that it’s hard to justify banishing 2-3 in one reaction, which is really what you need to do to make Lance really strong

    How do you feel about the Vynsett Match up? The thought of that is holding me back from jumping in

    • @onhiteffect
      @onhiteffect  9 месяцев назад +2

      Vynnset matchup is weird, halo is usually for figment of judgment to take away a runegate and if you make them double pop they’re throwing away their good blood debt cards so their turns don’t really *do* anything. But the real answer is at major events there’s typically between 0 and 2 Vynnset players so worrying about the matchup isn’t really an issue except at local armories. I would call it unfavored but winnable

      @Stellblade 9 месяцев назад +3

      @onhiteffect thanks for the detailed response. Runeblade and vynsett is somewhat popular in my area and im thinking of what to play for proquest. In a little bit of a personal crisis over losing dromai but this video gives me some hope for a deck I might fall in love with

    What’s your take on the victor match up? That’s proving to be the hardest for me.

    • @onhiteffect
      @onhiteffect  9 месяцев назад +2

      I think it depends on how teched they are - time skippers and balance of justice can be pretty hard, and if they see red pummels and lots of go again early sometimes you just die. But a good flood turn and then maintaining spectra on the board usually gets you there against them

      @@onhiteffect awesome. Thanks for the tips. I find it really hard to get any tempo in the match.

    Hi Rhea I recently fell in love with Prism and her whole playstyle before she got her new stick. Do you think you‘d be willing to sell me a couple coaching lessons regarding Prism?
    If so, please hit me up. 😊
    Awesome work and explanations, love your work. Keep it up! ♥️👌

      Please do so, I‘d be honored to get some advice. Never asked for this before but your way of playing Prism totally differs from mine but creates insane Boardstates and lines of play for you. Quite mesmerizing to watch.

    Cool Games and now try this against a brute :D

    • @onhiteffect
      @onhiteffect  9 месяцев назад +2

      I can try to make that happen! The overall gameplan vs brute is very similar to game 1 where there’s no loop just spectra value, but they have scabskin leathers to sometimes get out from underneath ALS

      @@onhiteffectare you taking gamblers in against brute?

    • @onhiteffect
      @onhiteffect  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@justintaulbee4255 yes, I think the math justifies them - it's really important when you have your pop off turn that the brute only has one action point so that you can run away with the game then, and gamblers significantly increases the chances of this happening - will break it down in my next stream
