I had a feeling that was the track although I remember it having a pretty decent tabletop jump. I only went there once in the early 80s. Me and a couple of mates wagged school, caught a train from Central because we were inner city kids from Surry Hills and Redfern, to North Ryde and rode the rest of the way. Spent the day there and came back all scratched up and bruised. I could never master that jump. 🚴🏼♂️
I love how they are picking eachother Up and the publikum laughing when they crash. It just shows how much they enjoi the race. Nowadays I feel like racec are getting too serious.
Love it. Everything was so basic and rudimentary, but the kids and parents had a fantastic time getting together to enjoy the sport of BMX!
