Hello friends, this is very cool idea using TTP223 touch sensor, this circuit will control 220V AC link a switch. Actually its a touch switch. You can use as electrical switch. Also you can use as door bell switch

So easy but so nice and ways cheaper than a normal switch, atleast here in Germany, the cheapest switch costs like 2,50€, has bad contacts which may burn very fast or mechanic breaks so it won't work and it is ugly, this you can build for less than two euros, if you use used parts like the relays and build the case yourself it can look fantastic, no moving parts means nothing can break. But one thing I would do different, I would use a capacitor power supply, like in remote controled AC plugs or IR movement switches, they are perfect, enough current for the relay and the TTP223 doesn't need much current, it would even run from a potato battery. But this video is also a nice demonstration of the TTP223, now I know how sensible it is 👍

This is a really cool and truly useful project. Since there is no need to actually touch the sensor, this could be installed in a weatherproof enclosure for outdoor use.

My own circuit design was not working. Tried this one, it stayed open for a while then tp223 stoped responding. After removing R2 it worked flawlessly. Thank you!

In Momentary / High Output 00 (1st) mode sensor is off after 12 seconds even when touched. Please help me that we do in ttp223 that it will work as long as 1 stay in touch.

As much as the used relay can take, with the relay you can drive more powerful switches, only there is the limit, if you have a relay that can switch 1000 amperes, you can switch 1000 amperes.
