If you're down and out and you feel real hurt
Come on over to the place where I live
And all your loneliness I'll try to soothe
I'll play the blues for you
Don't be afraid come on in
You might run across some of your old friends
All your loneliness I gotta soothe
I'll play the blues for you
I got no big name and I ain't no big star
I play the blues for you on my guitar
All your loneliness I'll try to soothe
I 'll play the blues for you

Very nice, but sadly the chords in the solo part are missing... it goes back to D and C#m before finally goes to Gm

    You have the chord changes?

      Verse is:
      G minor
      C minor
      G minor
Then it goes to the turnaround:
      Bb (flat) major
      D major
      C minor
G minor to end the progression. Rinse and repeat.
Also feel free to play any of those chords as 7s if you want. For example, Gm7, Cm7, Gm7 -> Turnaround Bb7, D7, Cm7, Gm7.
You can play it like regular old blues in G minor and make it sound great, but if you really wanna add in some flavor during the turnarounds and take it to the next level, try adding in some root notes (I.e. playing a Bb over the Bb chord, and/or playing D over the D chord, etc.). You can also target playing the 7s of each chord as well for another level up. Experiment and have fun!
