All filmed on a Sony A7S ii, A7Rii & Sony rx100iv , and a go pro hero session
That cave is incredible it looks like a film set, hard to believe it's natural. I'm starting to fall in love with Bulgaria.
yeah ,plenty of caves in Bulgaria.Check out "The Eyes of God" one.I think part of some of the Expendables was filmed in some cave in Bulgaria...
The cave from the Expendables is called Devetashka. There are more than 5000 caves in Bulgaria.
i am a bit of a sucker for caves. nature is the best.
+masubg there's more than 10000 registered caves in Slovenia and about the same amount of unregistered ones.
Pootin there are more than 4500 caves in Bulgaria, around 60 are made for tourists with lights and so on.Some of them are pretty dramatic.Sueva dupka,Devil's Throat(where the legend says Orpheus descended for Eurydica in the Underworld),Magura are some of the most spectacular. In cave "Prohodna" are located the legendary "Eyes of God"(check it out on Google),where some of the Expendables was filmed..
The Bulgaria series is very nice! Thanks
An easy way to navigate caves, always turn left and when you turn back always turn right. Batman taught me this technique when he was getting out of a maze, In the original TV series.
Holy bat guano Batman!
insane logic
Batman knows better
hahaha. that is so good. perfect actually.
I came to the same conclusion playing Minecraft xd
Louis and Raya just radiate good vibes 👌
You inspire me so much. Thank you for spreading such positive vibes all the time Louis!
Louis, the kitten and puppy segments were epic. Keep up the great work. Look forward to each and every vlog.
Bulgaria is a beautiful country! Hope to visit some day!
Have a great day everyone
what he do
always waiting for these vlogs , they are my favourite
Just a phenomenal Romanian tour Louis and Raya!
Thank you for sharing an amazing adventure today. Romania has a lot to offer, and Roya made it so much more enjoyable.
when Louis was playing with the puppy and "so beautiful" comes on by musiq soulchild ❤❤❤❤
Awwww puppies make everything better! Such a beautiful country thank you for sharing
I love you Louis so much your videos make me so happy!!! Enjoy living your adventure ☺️💙❤️

This place looks awesome... added it to the list.
your love and curiosity of expanding your knowledge and exploring this big, beautiful world is so inspiring! Keep doing what you're doing, it's amazing! Love from a youtuber from Sydney :)
Would honestly love to start travelling and vlogging my life, Louis travel vlogs are the best - keep it up louis
Thanks for showing us what a beautiful and fascinating country Bulgaria is - I have to go there some day, it looks amazing.
asks Raya if she's cold
she says yes
doesn't offer her his hoodie...
oh Louis...
But then he gets cold.
I remember Louis saying that cold is like the worst thing for him plus he's pretty skinny and muscular at the same time which means he feels probably colder than most people, so :P
Hahahaha, Louis is the best lol
OlgaSí lol!
Raya's Savagery PT 2:
- "I'm sure their singing sounded exactly like that"
- "You're also.. Insanely tall"
I frikkin love her Omf
Omg "these doors are made just for you" 😂😂😂😂
"I bet my grandma can make it through here" - the cave
I've seen Bulgaria from Romania once! Bucharest is north of where you were. You would probably not be able to see it. Enjoyed this video! Bucharest is a very interesting city!
This earth is so amazing ... I never get tired of seeing all these places I'll never travel to. Thanks for sharing *:D
Ahahaha Raya's grandmother killed me with her comment " Внимателно яли сме боб!"
Honestly Louis, you make me believe. Plainly put, you make me believe in things I want, will, and can do. Just thank you
Visiting caves is one of my favorite things to do, although it gets challenging for tall people like me for some locations. Also really digging learning about Bulgaria!
using balls of string unwinding as you go in and gathering it up on the way out.
Love this ! you're so inspiring ! love of love from canada
Oh man i'm so glad you came in Bulgaria :) I hope you liked it here.
Awesome mate.. Always enjoy your vlogs! Waiting for the next one..
That church in the cliff reminds me so much of a church on the side of the Ebenalp mountain in Switzerland, they use it to hold weddings and stuff there. You would like it Louis, it is like this one but literally sticking out of the mountain half way up. It is really cool!
You could track your way back with your phone, get the "my tracks" app.
but I don't think it will work because you need GPS and in caves I think you don't have any service down there.
+Justus Kertscher true
Loving all your vlogs Louis...
That cave looks amazing! I'd love to go to a concert there
There are self explore limestone caves around Margaret river in west aust. They give you a hard hat with a light and a hand held torch. Then you just go for it. Some go for quite a few kilometres. Its a great experience.
As a geologist and animal lover, I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog :)
this was a fun trip, thanks for sharing!
As well as stalagmites ( on the floor) and stalagtites ( on the ceiling), there are also pillars, where they join and curtain formations, which hang from the ceiling and waterfall formations!
3:40 Louis mocking Rayas accent was so cute !
If those marks really are that old I'm surprised they let everyone touch them!
😂
The earth is 5 thousand years old?!?!?!?!?!? DAFUQ
+Paul H Yeah, no the earth is more than 4 billion years old. Read a science book maybe.
+Chasbo Daniesl, how do geologists date the rocks, especially those "billions" or "millions" of years old?
I think they just do the sniff test. Just smell the rocks and you can usually tell the date.
Next time you come to Bulgaria come to Lovech it is a very beautiful city!
You should visit Veliko Turnovo, the old capital of Bulgaria, you will definately like it.
Great video!!
3:44 at this moment Louis turned American😂
There's a way to get out (the only one i know) light up a ligther, look at the flame and go where the wind its coming from.
beautiful country
Love the editing !
is anyone else getting the error 'sorry, this video is not available on this device' on Louis videos? I'm not even on a mobile device and its only happening on @FunforLouis videos...
The stalaGmite are the ones on the Ground, you can remember it for the G-G thing or because it grows up as the G's "tail". When both stalagmites and stalactites (the ones on the ceiling) come together they're called columns.
Also, the cave explorers use a rope to know the way back to the entrance that it can be used to know the meters too.
I hope Louis is putting in solid time with the father in law 😋
Stelagmite you might trip over it so its on the ground. Stelagtite is tightly on the celing.
i feel like louis is able to communicate with some animals, so far i've seen cockerels and dogs, what else can this whisperer do?
The Ape Caves of Mount St Helens in Washington, USA is a fantastic cave experience! Highly recommend for next time you are in the PNW!
Your work inspires me to create my own work, anyone else interested in finding a cinematic sketch channel, look no further!! come on over
great name!! Also, love your channel!! Cinematic is definitely the right word
Did you actually cop and paste your comment as fast as you could when the video came out?! Like wtf, the video was out 14 sec and your comment was here....
Nah fam.
nice copy paste, at least look at the channel description before spaming. He does flogs not cinematic sketches
he didn't say louis does cinematic sketches. he was saying HE does cinematic sketches.
that church on the cliff thingy reminded me of " the grand Budapest hotel" (the movie) where the two main characters got help from monks from a church really high up.
If you love exploring caves you should definitely go the the caves of Valkenburg in the south of the Netherlands. Those are over 200 km long and you can do explore activities over there. Also it was used as a shelter during world war 2 so it has some interesting history.
5:09 - The lady said: "We told the people walking behind us [through the tiny spaces] - Be careful, we just ate beans!" (implying that they might accidentally fart in their faces) XD Oh.... that's such a Bulgarian thing to say. I love it :D
why didnt you give your sweater to Raya? 😕
perhaps because inside that sweater is a very thin sleeveless shirt that we always see Louis wearing. he doesn't have a choice, he's the one who's going to freeze if he do that. not so sure though.
What a beautiful country, I had no idea.
Having your band play in that cave would be legendary
You need to visit Slovenian caves. That 'concert hall' in this Bulgarian cave has nothing on the hall in Postonja cave. That one's huge. They regulary have concerts there, even opera. They even had Eurobasket draw in there. And you take a little train to get there! They have the only underground post office and some really weird creatures that they call human fish. Another cave, Skocian, has an underground canyon. That one's my fave. It's beyond amazing. Yet another cave has many underground lakes. But admition is expensive as they only let a few people in each year.
guys ,you have to visit Veliko Tarnovo and his area , the most bautiful place :)
Love the adventure, imma start saying that
Your a great guy AMAZING video
You're**
maan you are talking about bulgarian history quite better than some of the bulgarians...Congrats :)
When are you guys not on a vacation?..njoy!
love these vlogs :)
Usually you'd wear a belt of some sort with cable on it that unwinds and then attach to the walls if you're traversing up and now a lot and then follow it back out
Wish trees are a common site in India near religious places. People tie their wishes to the tree branches after praying to God for the same
Stalactites hang from ceiling, Stalagmites grow from ground, when they connect it's called a column
they used to use twine and string. they would follow it back out. there are tons of cave systems where I live.
you didn't go to the 7 rilla lakes??? :/
you should come to plovdiv next time!
hope I'll see you in Bucharest tomorrow
He is not going to Budapest tomorrow check the description this blog isn't from yesterday
Budapest? Are you joking or you didn't read my comment?
+Eduard Militaru sorry calm down check the description kid
yeah. I now I saw this is from 6th. But still. get your facts straight about capitals
Nefailll Nefailll its bucharest bitch not budhapest !! hungarians are mongols romanians are kings
Loui u can do spelunking i did it one time. We had a guide take us through a natural cave it was amazing.
Fantastic vlog
In cave exploring you can light a match or bring a lighter and the flame will always point to the exit because there is more air there!
I once went exploring for several hours in a web of caves and didn't even get to explore half of that caves, the only way back is to mark your way, and there was places that you had to crawl like a snake, I had a hand written map that two explorers spent several months to make it.
if you ever come to Israel there is a lot to explore and you LIVE THE ADVENTURE here on a holy way
that dog is beautiful!
In Germany you can find caves like this aswell. They're so beautiful.
Lol Raya's grandma was concerned the two of them were walking behind her cause she had had beans stew earlier!! ahahaha
WOW!!! Cool Caves! And things in them! =)
Yeah, I can never remember which one is which for the Stalactites and Stalagmites.
Neat Church. =)
AWE!!! adorable Kitten and Puppy! =) I'm definitely a Dog Person, but my husband is a cat person... and we have a cat.
I love all animals though. =)
Cool tradition about the wish bracelets on the tree. =)
your head might bump stalactites, and you may stumble upon a stalagmite. :)
+Creative North are you a poet? hahaha
Thank you, Creative North. =)
Thank you Gerarda Cronin. =)
Well when you go in an underwater cave you bring a line with you that is spooled up and you tie it at the beginning then let it out as you go. I imagine you could do that same thing. It would have to be a pretty large spool of string though and you'd have to be careful not to let it snag on anything and break.
Lots and lots of rope / string! Have it secured at the entrance somewhere and have it with you as you go.
Louis, you do know that Raya's name in bulgarian means" the heaven" right?
"Stalactites" hold on "tight" to the ceiling. That's how I remember them. Also, shouldn't there be a "Fun for Louis" brand of coffee.
I always remembered it as stalactites have a C for ceiling and stalagmites have a G for ground! :D
+Alicia Miller stalagmites are from the bottom up easy to remember because mites can crawl up them from the ground
mites crawl up and tights fall down is how I was taught
LOL I always learned it as stalaCtite (C for ceiling) and stalaGmites (g for ground). We all have our own mnemonics ;)
Stalactites come down... Tights
It was funny how tall the doorways were compared to Louis! :)
Column is a completed stalactite from the ceiling and a stalagmite from the floor.
youre the coolest guy
Well, in France, we learn at school that : "stalac"T"ite when it "T"ombe (down), stalag"M"ite when it "M"onte (upwards). But I don't even know what's the learning in others countries for this. Anyways, thanks for the vlog :)
I wanna go to Bulgaria
tramaine Cedras just do it it is soo affordable you won't even believe it!
we have this tradition with bracelets in greece too:)
That Church was pretty neat
Fire Louis. The flame will reach outwards because of the air escaping the cave
how is it called the music in the intro, i cant find it on suncloud
The red and white bracelets have an historical meaning. They are called martenisti and they are a very old tradition in Bulgaria. When Bulgaria was created by Khan Asparuh (the "king" of Bulgaria) he sent a message to his brother and he tied it with a white knot onto an eagle. The eagle got shot and the blood covered the knot. then we kept this white and red bracelets as sort of symbol of the creation of Bulgaria and yes also for spring. :)
And also when Bulgaria was under the Ottoman Empire, Bulgarians didn't have the right to build bigger churches, the church shouldn't have to be taller than an ottoman soldier on his horse, that's why they build churches in the rocks and there are a lot which were built "in the ground ".
:)
Idk louis you will rply back or not but i have a question that how you manage to make so money to travel??all the time you are traveling is your parents helping or you are just living on the youtube?
Aryan godiyal living on youtube
how did he do that intro I would like to do that for my channel
Stalactites hang down. I remember this by thinking of a pair of tights on washing line lol xx
f
i think this is my village can you say the name of the cave ?
