- In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. RUclips earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

I so enjoyed hearing your letter! I, too, suffer with daily pain & it does affect everything you do. I love your attitude & bet we could be real friends as I too have a maniac dog as well as a very calm one, & an older yorkie that is blind. Makes life interesting! I laughed out loud when the squirrel attacked the nodding hare & Isabelle jumped & squealed!!! 😂 so much fun today!!!

💗💗💗 I’m very moved by the letter the woman wrote to you and how she and her dog watch you. I can totally relate to how special your vlogs are! Even for my 14-year-old daughter. I asked her to watch this with me and she said she already watched it while she was doing her schoolwork. She shared she doesn’t feel as lonely and loves to play your videos in the background. Kelowna is surrounded by amazing wineries. Apples, cherries, apricots and peaches are all grown there. Albertans, which I am, purchase the fruit from Kelowna (which is in the Okanagan Valley) every week at Farmers Markets. Trucks make the 9 1/2 hour journey through the Rocky Mountains every week in the summer to bring fruit and vegetables to our province, Alberta. Because of the beautiful weather, hot summers and mild winters it in a vacation hot spot.
Grew up in northern Alberta and remember those trucks, especially cherries. Now I live on Vancouver Island and still stop at roadside markets. Nothing is better than fresh picked fruit from the a Okanqgan!

Euphemisms and puns are rife at Christmas, and apparently beyond. I love seeing Isobel and Percy happy and playful. They remind me of my parents, and how much I miss them.

Hello Nattie, Stephanie and Phillip. Isabelle and Percy, The large hooved and antlered animal in the Spode style tissue paper is a Moose. A huge and gentle giant whose favourite food are the plants that grow at the bottom of ponds and marshes etc. Gentle but wild none the less.
It was so nice to see someone from my province in BC. Kelowna is a very beautiful place where many go to holiday at. 🇨🇦
I love Kelowna, I went to elementary school there. Great place to grow up.
To make the s'mores fancy or special, put sliced strawberries along with the marshmallows, chocolate and gram crackers. It is surprising how much better the sweet treat becomes!
Substituting chocolate peanut butter cups for the Hershey’s chocolate can also improve the S’mores.
We make smoreos wth Oreo cookies instead of graham crackers

But a warning on Hershey's chocolate- despite the lovely thought better substitute Swiss, Belgian or French dark chocolate since I read very recently some of the Hershey's dark chocolate has been recalled due to heavy metals discovered in it! I don't know any details though. I do know that Hershey's does not hold a candle to Swiss chocolate having lived there a total of 9 years.
My parents were born in Teton Valley, and we gathered huckleberries at my grandfather's ranch as a summer activity.
There salt sellers for each place setting my grandmama has them here silver service came with the little spoons to place the salt onto your food fyi everyone looks so fabulous 🥰

I hit the pause button because I'm currently reading a cozy British mystery set in the 1920s called Death in Damascus, which a female archeologist character named Persephone Nefertiti Carruthers (mother was into Greek mythology, father was an Egyptologist). Also, I love strawberry rhubarb jam and the candle scent smells heavenly.

I'm Isabelle's age and notice my features including eyebrows have faded. A bit of subtle
color on the eyebrows and eye liner makes a big difference.
I use hair root dye to darken my pale eyebrows. Come with a little brush so easy to do and stays for a few weeks.

There is a bison farm very close to where I live. Amazing animals,they are wild and beautiful. The meat is fantastic. Very healthy.
