I have holiday totes! I have two each (large) Halloween and Christmas totes full of store bought and homemade decorations. And one that’s all the other holidays. (Easter, valentines, 4th of July etc). Makes it a lot easier to pull things out and put it away again.
Oh Barbara whenever I put stuff in a safe place that's it, don't find it for ages. It's a standing joke in the family. So please don't worry. I do catch myself now and say no not in that safe place❣
Hello Barbara, it's Sunday night very late here. I never sleep early, so I'm listening to you. Just like you, I also DO NOT have everything together regarding seasonal decorations - truth - I don't have it together when it comes to decorations AT ALL. I really like your idea of having everything organized in a specific place where you can just pull it out and change your decorations. Maybe you can do the work and lead us in getting organized - say, three to four per year. I have my Christmas decorations in small plastic box, like you for a very small tree, but something we could really enjoy (did it last year). How about we start making things for Thanksgiving? (I don't celebrate Halloween). I bought the exact same yarn from Hobby Lobby as the yarn you are crocheting with. I made doll blankets for my great granddaughters. I found a lot of knots in my skeins 😞 I don't know why, but for some reason, it is very uncomfortable for me to crochet with chunky yarn - I can knit with it, but the crocheting feels uncomfortable.
