does anyone have this problem im trying to set up my child phone it says update restrictions or set up later but those 2 don't work I have restarted nothing happened
Both my kids are autistic...my 15 year old son has been on my Apple ID for 10 years. I am TERRIFIED to do this family sharing. He is non verbal and he needs his iPad and he also has a lot of things on his iPad that are very important to him. I have read so many horror stories of people losing everything. He keeps turning on iCloud though and I literally almost lost all my photos. I know it sounds silly it's a kids iPad but he's severely autistic and this would absolutely devastate him if I messed up his saved data/game progress etc. I don't know what to do.
So what you do is go to settings - Click on your name - Scroll Down till you see Log out-Enter your Apple ID password if prompted If you want to click log out and it says Can not log out due to restrictions then go to Screen Time-Scroll Down till you see Turn off Screen Time - Enter screen time passcode-If you forgot it then-Press forgot passcode and use your Apple ID password then all done try logging out now (Hope this helped)
To add a child profile now go to settings tap my name and tap family sharing when setting up then when you completed setting up your family share tap add choose a option create a child account
When i set an icloud email for my child they asked for a verification code sent to the email When i tried to enter the email the i cloud mail refused !!!
One of the best thing Apple ecosystem have.. have setup for both my kids !

Am I the only one whose credit card code is wanted???
I wish they would enable dark mode in their future videos 😊
👍
Probably keeping it black on white for accessability reasons. Some people can't tolerate light text on dark backgrounds.

Im just stupid or something. So, how do I switch to child account? I did all this, but the iPad is still on my account
I'm not an expert on this or anything but I believe you either remove your apple ID from the iPad or factory reset it.

Why I have to use my credit cart to verify that I am adult? This is bullshit I don’t won’t so apple have my card info. How to do other way ?
What about iMac then?
How the heck do you switch to the child's account? I just set this up, and the ipad still requires my pin and has full access to everything.
Log out of your account on that device by going to Settings -> Your Profile -> Log Out, and log in to their account.
@@charlesdoesmore5488DUDE HOW THE HECK CAN YOU DO THAT WHEN ITS LOCKED
Is this on iOS 17 only
