For this build, I went with a different way on improving a mech. How do you improve a mech without adding articulation. How do you improve it then? I went with improving the "theme". The set is call a Tech mech but the build hasn't much tech aside that it's a mech. I imagined aside from guns, what tech would fit a mech? So i went with adding boosters and an advance weapon, drones 😁 Let me know what you think and how would you upgrade your set if current articulation is not an issue. And yes we know the SCCBS limbs are still boring 🤣
I love your Elemental Mech upgrade videos so much that I had built the Cole's Earth Mech and it is such a banger. And I will probably build Sora's Tech Mech in a near future.

Also these gives possibilities to make small changes for everyone's taste and parts. I'm planning to build this and Cole's mech soon. Would it be possible that you make same type of video for Kai's mech? Combining 2 set's is best way to make sure that people have all the parts.

Thou I think Kai's mech is already awesome, and it really needed the new elbows and knees. 🤔 The wolf mech also looks ok a bit after removing the long arms 😂 I think Sora's mech is the only set that can easily be improved by buying another set 😁

Wanted to give an update on my build. I am actually almost done with the base shape of it, i am realizing that trying to keep the vehicle cockpit is making it a bit top heavy and thus making it a bit hard to stand and pose. I don't necessarily want to reduce what i have done though, so I need to figure out the joints. I think I have access to the old bionicle joint spacer things, so i might be able to do that, but if that doesn't work, i am not sure what else I could try.
Yup what joints to use are the most important thing to decide for me. It defines the scale of the build. My combiner had ankle problems and took me almost 6 months I think to figure it out. It did lose some articulation but it was more stable now. Next joint that I'm gonna improve is the hips but that will overhaul my core mech. I also think of reducing pieces is ok as it's the easiest way to make the combiner lighter and more stable. You can also try to check what parts can be replace to make the build better. This process is a bit tricky but sure helps a lot. This is the phase where your mind is stretched but rewarding as the lessons you learn will help you in future builds. I'm also planning my next combiner but i might go for smaller scale with no minifigures this time. I think it's more harder to do as I need to make it more interesting to compensate the lost of minifigures 😁
Ive actually started to build this the other day, and I am already trying to figure out how to combine this with the transforming mech bike. Making both modes look good is certainly going to be tricky though.
Thanks for the idea but I plan to make the wolf mech similar size to my Jay's Battle mech. I feel using a bigger set to make it is too much. The concept should be better to justify using an expensive set 😁
@@Mechalaro That’s also a good idea.Yeah, I realized that would be out a lot of people’s budget and you’d only use 100 of 1000 pieces possibly and just wouldn’t be worth it.
The golden parts on the hips are modeled on traditional samurai armor and do not move back and forth when running but the new mech variant ist cool. I used your video step by step to build it, it looks cool next to the original Sora mech
Thanks for the comment 😁 Yup but the execution was not good as the golden armor can only go outward. It would have been better if the armor was held by claw with bar(Part 48729b) to let it sway front to back too. The waist would need a brick with a stud( like Part 87087) instead of a clip. 😁 Thanks for trying out my build 😁
@@Mechalaro please make a build tutorial for a fully brick built and fully articulated lego version of Cole’s Golem Form from lego ninjago dragons rising and make it so that a Cole Minifigure be able to be placed into the chest of the golem like a mech cockpit and fully enclosed around the Cole Minifigure to give the illusion that he’s transformed please
@eoghanbailey8488 I also loved the way as it had tons of opportunity for upgrades 😁 I may make an elemental mech for Arin. I already got an Arin minifig back home, so I just need to get more parts for the mech. I didn't get the 4+ set as I didn't see any value in it 😁
He made jays elemental mech.Plus I think for Lloyd’s mech all you have to do is swap the green with blue to make it Nya’s mech and have Lloyd his own different mech.

I noticed something about some new versions of the piece I used for the elbows and knees and thought of checking it out more when I go home. I don't want people to make the current build and end up with a loose bicep swivel or weak knees. Will remake the video or release an instruction in the future after I check the build again 😁

The best part is i already have the parts for this since I'd bought two of the tech mech for mech building parts for OCs
The set is really good and best part is the colors are easier to mix with other colors compared to Kai's or Cole's mechs. 😁

For the wolf mech, you should use Elemental dragon vs Empress mech and the pieces from the wolf mech + random purple pieces.
