I upgraded the best Ninjago Mech set! This is how I improved Cole's Titan Dragon mech!

I modified Cole's Titan Dragon mech using pieces from own collection to make it better! These changes will give your mech a massive upgrade both in style and function!

Much better indeed. I usually don't like the scale used form the head on these sets. A little bigger would be nice I think
I do agree the head is a bit small like the one on Jay's Titan mech 😁.
I got a new version for the head that is slightly wider but I wasn't able to finish it. I'll work on it along with other improvements. I really want this mech to have a proper kneeling pose 🤣
Great upgrades, but personally the originals torso and shoulders i like bit more. The big shoulders give it a great silhouette witch gets lost with your versio.

Love to see another big build from you. This is truly an intricate piece of work. I like how you gave it a sword holder on the side and gave the wings mobility which is very nice. Waist and skirt are well done and overall is one of your best, keep it up!

I felt the weapon storage was needed when I tried to put the mech in my shelf to avoid the blade to bend. It's so soft that I think it can be bent quite easily.
I now store it a bit facing the right as the blade is so long 🤣

Thanks. I'm glad to hear you tried the build. For the instructions, I made new more sturdy wings, Projectile launchers and it can now do kneeling pose quite well 😁

This is a very good improvement of the already amazing Cole’s Titan Dragon Mech! The only issue I have is that the wings don’t have enough stability. One mixel joint per section of the wing isn’t strong enough to keep the wings up through light play.

I did experience that issue with some of my Mixel joints. I tried multiple times, and most of the time, the wings stayed in place. I tested it by keeping the pose for a few hours and doing some careful posing, treating it like a Gunpla. 🤣
I also tried using clips and pneumatic bars, but they were weaker. In the end, I made a new set of wings because I didn't like how the light grey Mixel joints looked out of place. 🤣
@@Mechalaro Overall it’s a good design for display! Although I’m a little more rough with my sets. I’m currently designing my own pair of wings through inspiration of yours with double or even triple mixel joints!
I think you could try using the bigger ball joints if you're okay with the wings becoming a bit bulkier. However, using multiple Mixel joints will give it an awesome mechanical look. 😁

How is the progress on the alternative build for set 71796 because I have an idea could you give it a powered up mode like Zanes also this is a great build
I completely forgot about it because I’ve been having more fun tinkering with the Elemental and Titan Mech sets 🤣. The things I’ve tried and learned are helping me work toward my main goal of building another combiner, which is way more exciting for me right now.
As for 71796, my current concept is a basic mech that powers up when combined with a support unit, kind of like Brave Bang Bravern! But honestly, it doesn’t look great at the moment.
I apologize for saying I’d complete it earlier, but I don’t want to put out a half-baked build just to get it done. It wouldn’t be helpful to anyone if I did that 🤣.

Hey man the build is awesome you basically just made a Ninjago Gundam and is epic but one thing i wish was modded more was the head as imo it was a bit small ( what i meant was i just wish the head was more menacing y'know a head that gives a presence when you display it again all imo)

I do agree the head is a bit small and I got a new version for it hat is slightly wider but I'm still tinkering with it for now. I'll work on it along with other improvements like better knees as the armor always falls. I'll include all the modification I'll make to the instruction 😁
...can you post another video for your second level upgrade? The newest head is so so so so so much better, and ditching the ball joints in the wings is also major key

I created the new head, wings, and guns as a way to show my gratitude to those who’ve supported me financially.

What editing software do you use?
@Greanbeens14 I use photos legacy for the effects, then combine my clips and add the text to speech using Clipchamp. 🤣

I do suggest you try slowing down the video or pausing it. That's what I'm doing to make the instructions as disassembling the build is harder for me right now. 😁

I've thought about that, but right now, I don’t have the best setup for recording my voice, and I’m not quite confident yet. I tend to stutter a lot, and it gets a bit frustrating! 🤣
