picking 4 duelists because you thought it was a practice round, THEN realizing it wasn't and continuing to play 4 duelists anyways AND THEN WINNNING 13-3 has got to be one of the most based things to happen in any Valorant tournament

if PRX did this strat in the upcoming VCT that means its legit and there's a high chance these SMG gals were scrimming with PRX since they're both SG teams

It's even more funny when after map 1, SMG coach said they had planned it to immortalize themselves and also to pay respects to their former coach. He actually have no clue as to why they pick 4 duelist either, talking out of his ass 😂😂

Dw, they're well versed in silly comps. They've also played stuff like Raze Reyna solo Harbor on Pearl, quad Sentinel on Haven, quintuple Controller amongst others.

The fact that they did that by accident makes that match even more insane, and their coach making up why they played that after the first map is one of the funniest interviews I have seen. He legit says it was to pay homage to their old coach and it's flashy.
Even though this was a mistake, this did kinda make me realise reynas potential - you can't turn her flashes. If you combine her flash with another flash (for example pheonix flash) you basically get an undodgable flash which could be extremely strong in pro play. This combo can also set up the reyna for a kill which is really important for her
Seeing that one round where the Reyna just dismisses like 3 times out of gunfire was just amaaazing
Yeah PRX saw this potential too, they combo Reyna with Skye often
pheonix is alrdy undodgeable tho if you use it properly.
this has been known since like the prx double flash comp lmao
I was just thinking about this, pairing reyna's flash with another and using it as the secondary one will double its efficiency since the opponents wouldn't be able to re-peek after dodging your teammate's primary flash, thus having a clear path for an exec.
This was one crazy hecking game....
And the fact that it was a total mistake makes it even funnier

Winning with such a comp is impressive, but going 13-3 is pretty fucking dominant. Even with an unfamiliar comp they locked in super heavily for the dub, truly just better

I thought holding extra long angles and then backing off into holding slightly more defensive angles is the way against duelists (and not leaving the site). Since duelsits have slightly harder time preventing you from doing that.

If it wasn't an accident, I think they were banking on their surprise factor since it's their first international event. At least that was what I thought they were gonna do. The SMG identity: be explosive, be aggressive, and pop heads ASAP.

Its to my understanding GC is for Women and Enby people. While as a trans person myself I know many will pretend to be trans, there's a possible reason so it's best not to jump to conclusions.

EG with 2 men in their team. Bringing in full-grown men with character confusions is a slippery slope. GC is for women's empowerment in esports scene. Alphabet men can join the tier 1 and tier 2 scene of Val if they want to, women scene have only limited spots.
