Thanks for the tip. Picked this up a couple days ago. It feels really nice on the skin. Hoping it helps even the skin tone on my arms and legs. It’s lightweight but moisturizing and doesn’t leave a greasy feel. Too lightweight for my hands
Gold Bond retinol over night gave me a terrible rash ALL over my body and face. I have always used retinols and have had no problems before. I have had a terrible reaction to it. Please be cautious if you decide to try it.
This is the best light day lotion for dehydrated skin!!! this & the gold bond retinol overnight (pretty sure the retinol is so low it's just a gimmick tho, wasn't able to get another overnight option) have done wonders for my mature, winter-in-dry-cold-MT skin...in a month! CVS has a spend $20+, get $10 back rn, the overnight plus the smaller day type lotion were $20.50 where I live, so half off. If you do a lot of humectant serums, this will keep em locked in all day, instead of evaporating, and really helps make HA behave, and it's almost impossible to avoid these days.
I am loving this stuff, soaks in and my body is not greasy. Great ingredients. I still need their heavier ultimate cream for my hands as I wash dogs all day but I prefer the way my skin feels after using this one
Giving this a shot instead of the cerave version to save some money. If you compare the ingredients back to back the gold bond has the same 3 ceramides that cerave is all about. And it also has niacinamide in it
I’m confused about urea. I thought we weren’t supposed to use that on our face. I remember you mentioning in a previous video about using it on your feet at the end of your routine so you wouldn’t get it on the skin if your face. Is it ok in small quantities? Or am I remembering this wrong? (Which is totally possible! I’ve watched soooo many of your videos recently)
It depends on the percentage. High percentages shouldn't be used on the face. Products made for feet can be 30% urea while you probably wouldn't put more than 5% on your face
I purchased this and it’s sticky no matter how I apply it’s sticky 😬however I’ve decided to just mix it with a little bit of squalane oil to get rid of the stickiness Because sugarcane squalane doesn’t break me out!
What percentage of urea do you think it might have ? I’ve noticed it’s their second ingredient in many of their lotions. So it must be high . I love urea ! Just found a Dr Scholl’s 25% urea and epsom salt foot balm that’s so cheap and GOOD. It’s helped with a nasty , huge foot callous after the first few days of use . Thank you for the recommendations, Dr Dray 🥰
Bought this awhile ago as a cruelty-free alternative to the Cerave lotion. Not only is it cheaper, but it has better ingredients and is better at hydrating my dry skin.
Well it's best to use a non irritating moisturizer with adapelene, and this one looks like it fits the bill. I just tried it myself. Super moisturizing
Probably not actual acne scars like boxcar or icepick scars which leave indents in the skin. I've seen minimal improvement with my acne scars by layering my moisturizer on thick and using differin and azelaic acid but they weren't severe scars to begin with.
hi dr. dray i want to know if it's better to alternate active ingredients like using vitamin c in the morning and the next day using niacinamide or to use vitamin c consistently for two months before using niacinamide? i'm really confused about this, thanks!
Yes, Gold Bond is cruelty free, as far as I have researched 😊 As for vegan-friendliness, there’s nothing on the ingredients list that seems to be animal-derived to my knowledge, but it’s probably best to call them and ask if you want to be 100% sure.
I have a question. Sometimes I wear makeup and after some period of time, I clean my brushes and sponges them. Since cleaning doesn't exactly sanitize them, I wanted to know if there was some kind of makeup safe sanitizing product or solution to kill the bacteria that may be in a sponge.
70% Alcohol is a potent desinfectant. Rubbing alcohol does have that unpleasant smell though, but you can get undenatured alcohol in that strength as well. Any supermarket with a large alcoholic beverage selection should carry it, since it's also used for homemade fruit liquor concoctions. Just soak your sponges in it for a couple minutes and you should be good to go.
It looks like a Cerave SA Cream dupe. You are quite lucky in the US because in the EU the supermarket skincare products are so bad. Sanofi is French but we do not have this brand in France 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you Dr. Dray , recently on social media I have seen people using Milk of Magnesia on the face . Any advice for us ? This was great the only thing missing is you saying And don’t forget Wear your Sunscreen 🥰💕
My face has been loving this! I can't believe the ingredients!

How’d it go

I like that it has Urea. Thanks, Dr. Dray
Thank you Dr Dray!

I love this body moisturizer. It’s so good. My question is is it OK to wear it during daytime also?

Dr. Dre did a video about urea a few days ago. She explains the benefits of urea.
It is okay in lower percentages, I think above 10 you can't use it on your face

Eucerin urea repair replenishing face cream 5% great for the face, but don’t put it on your eyelids
My moisturizer is the Cerave SA smoothing cream with 10% urea and I can tolerate it perfectly just don't use it around the eyes.
glad to see this doesn't have lavender in it like their new ointment (why, gold bond?).
Would that be good for a compromised skin barrier? Thanks
Love this moisturizer its gentle enough to tolerate daily use for me
Just picked this up! Thank you!

I switched from CeraVe and Cetaphil to the gold bond. It's better and more lightweight not greasy like Cetaphil or pasty like CeraVe
Buying this at my Target tomorrow. Love multipurpose stuff!!

I noticed this too 😭

Is all products with urea going to burn the fire out of me or is only the eucerin brand? Because that was awful.
Dr Dray can you list percent urea in each Gold Bond product? It would be so helpful !
Glad to see this thumbs up for Gold Bond! ⭐️ Have a nice evening! 🍁
Uk which shop I found gold bond products..plz plz tell me sister …
Thanks for the tip! I need to check this one out
Can I use this with acne free adapelene? Thnx
Well it's best to use a non irritating moisturizer with adapelene, and this one looks like it fits the bill. I just tried it myself. Super moisturizing
I heard about the Gold Bond Diabetics. Can I use it on my face
Dark spots as in hyper pigmentation or acne scars? or both?
Probably not actual acne scars like boxcar or icepick scars which leave indents in the skin. I've seen minimal improvement with my acne scars by layering my moisturizer on thick and using differin and azelaic acid but they weren't severe scars to begin with.

Alternating is best since you get the best of both worlds.
I love this lotion!
Is it Vegan/Cruelty Free? Couldn’t really see the panel. It doesn’t look like it. Can anyone tell/see?
Gold Bond isn't usually considered a cruelty free brand.

They have one for crepe skin too. Have you or anyone out there used it yet?
Hi doctor please tell me should I stop tretinoin 1 month before facial laser treatment?
Got a coupon in the mail for it!
Can you review the Heliocare 360 sunscreens?
I need this.

This doesn’t have salicylic acid
Who’s voice was that? Lol
Thank you Dr. Dray , recently on social media I have seen people using Milk of Magnesia on the face . Any advice for us ? This was great the only thing missing is you saying And don’t forget Wear your Sunscreen 🥰💕
My sister use a small bit to blot out oiliness before applying makeup
This voice she does freaks me out!
This isn’t her voice. It’s automated ( like Siri)
