I have the same pistol in .380 Auto. Mine was imported by the now-defunct B-West of Arizona. The lower frame and barrel are hard chromed and sports a FAB grip with the mag release in an upper position. I bought mine used around 1998, for about $165. Have shot it many times and found it to be a very tough, reliable, and accurate pistol. So much so I keep it on my nightstand just in case!
I picked up an IJ70-17AH at a gun show earlier this year for $225. The bluing is fairly worn, but it eats everything and is super duper accurate. I haven't had a misfire or jam yet. Being an 17AH means it's chambered in 380ACP and is the double stack version. It only came with one 10 round magazine (it was released just before the high-cap ban, so almost all US models have the 10 round mag) but I was able to score a couple of brand new 12 round mags from Russia. They were pricey, but worth it since they're so rare here.
I have the Export model PM-IJ79-18A made in Russia. Mine does not have the Russian Star on the grips. The black plastic Grips also have a more pronounced finger and thumb rest. Almost like a target pistol. I am handicapped so I shoot generally from the sitting position. When I first shot my Makarov I decided to shoot two handed on a sandbag rest on the bench. I was quite surprised to see at the same distance you were shooting I was consistently putting several rounds in the same hole in the center of the target. WOW......I guess I just got a good one.
Good review! These commercial Makarovs are still the best deal around at under $300. Gun Parts Warehouse makes a nice fixed contrast aluminum rear sight for $32 if anyone is iffy about the looks or durability of the standard rear sight. Some may disagree but the edges on the controls are smoother and finer looking than on the milsurp Bulgarians. Great little pistol.
My first pistol and I’m very pleased. Thank you for the video.
They're amazing quality
Yes it is similar to the PPK but it has a much straighter ammo feed ramp that does not jam nearly as much as the PPK. I like a lot more than the PPK.
Yeah I really do prefer this design, and the direction of the safety.

They are great pistols
Nice, mine was 200
Mines a 380 too. I've been contemplating getting some wood grips for it.
Got mine for 200 in 2017? 2018?
Lmao you're even dressed like a Russian gangster
That's how I dress every day
I was thinking the very same thing! ::chuckling::

Best part is the single stack mags work too.
the three mags gave us what we wanted right off the bat, thanks and i thought the vid would be in russian lol
thanks. I'm fluent but then the video wouldn't have any useful info in english.

They're amazing pistols if you practice with them

Yeah my brother grabbed one too. He loves his too.
That's a nice little pistol. Great vid my friend.
Yeah i couldn't pass it up... $289 and it shoots like a dream.
Oh and i posted a video about the little pistol i got for evelyn... I'm very picky with weapons... and this one was a perfect choice. NAA 32 auto
My favorite pistol.
Yeah they're great
@@BrotherhoodFireArms ive had mine for 25 years and never found another gun that i can shoot as well as conceal.
The jacket and buckle made the video awesome before you even showed the gun.
Thanks
The mic system is perfect for your channel. Makes the video process easy
Yes it does
Similar to the Walther PP😊 Very well made.
yes these work great
I think in 380 its even better because you have a greater variety of ammo. Also modern .380 is as strong or even stronger than 9x18.
I tend to agree.
I really over paid for mine. 😭
Impulse buy on GB. Won't sell it though, it's a fun little pistol.
They're not cheap anymore. But definitely great pistols
That one is pretty accurate and not too bulky.
Yup. Reliable, accurate, and a decent size and price as well.
stevetheartistguy yeah it really is a great little pistol for plinking and it’s cheap to shoot and easy to maintain
Zgunz I like this handgun
Low left is where my rounds always seem to land, when shooting handguns.
Practice never hurts. I'm anything but perfect myself.
Zgunz I landed in Kona today. Im excited to finally see the Big Island.
Oh man... and I'm not there to show you around... sorry man.
Zgunz yeah I rented a Wrangler. Haven’t driven one since high school. It needs an LS swap.
The most reliable pistol I have
The arch or the arrow does not fail, the Indian fails. Thanks for you video!
That's one way to put it. Thanks for watching.
Yg asli MV ada lambang bintang Rusia, kecepatan kecepatan kaliber akurat handal, tembus jarak 250 mtr lbh
Hi Sir how much price this pistol
