Shearing an Angora Goat

Shearing is an essential part of keeping Angora Goats. Unlike a dog or cat who shed, an Angora Goat will continue to grow its hair, just like a human. With hair (known as mohair) which grows one inch per month, it is important to shear (give a haircut) to an Angora Goat twice per year. In this video, a kid (baby) Angora Goat gets his very first haircut.
