Sorry for the slower uploads, it's been a demotivating week. Recently, all (unmuted) Heroes 3 gameplay videos on RUclips started getting hit with copyright claims due to the soundtrack and nobody knows if they're here to stay. I'd already pre-recorded 8 parts(!) of this series when it started happening, so I'm having to edit and upload while knowing everything will be copyright claimed. Apologies if the vids are stuffed with ads, I have no control over it.
Yeah, the copyright thing surprised everyone. What are you going to do with your new vids? No music?
I'm determined to find a silver lining! I'm working on a custom soundtrack with royalty-free music. Hopefully people like it.
@@Norovo I think that is the best solution, to replace the mp3s with your own, I am doing that myself. Or even no music at all is better than using background music from youtube - which does not really work.
Is it just your channel, or have other channels encountered the same problem as well?
@@BAMGM everyone has these problems, I've spoken with Meridian, AbsoluteZero, Ownager asked Lexiav. Me too... Copyright claims on all fronts. Big channels like Chris' or nanochannels like mine.

I started watching and had so much to say but I've forgotten now! Still enjoyed watching. Saw some of the comments and that sucks to hear about the music, I love the battle music always gets me pumped for an epic battle with other heroes! ^_^ Further Kudos for sticking with it :)
The AI stand in front of the walls and just accept demise is a pretty common event whenever I play for whatever reason

39:30 I know 🙂🙂 funniest when Dendroids or Zombies do that , I think that tactics is a hero strategy specialist and he gets his creatures or army ready for the fight before it begin already .... like we saw in Wars and Fights when weak army defeat strong army with tactics in reality, so in heroes they have looooots of time to spare in tactics, maybe when two heroes fight each other with tactic speciality its like everyone predict the other tactics but if one of them have more tactics its like he use strong or complicate tactic the other weaker side can't predict his tactics .

Hello! My dad has been playing this game since it released. I have grown up watching him play and playing with him. It is his all-time favourite game. I want to surprise him for Christmas with the full game and that HOTA expansion, multiplayer and all the new stuff. I found this channel while I was doing research about the game. As for the main Heroes 3 game, if you don't have it already, the complete version from gog.com is recommended. Don't bother with HD version from Steam as it is not HotA compatible.

Norovo, what is the configuration that you are using for the resolution? I mean... When you go in to battle or inside the castle, for sure these ones looks bigger than my HOMM3 HD Complete Edition with HotA, too! I have tested all the 'Stretch filter' on the mod 5.2 RC14 Launcher; but, my eyes still suffering a bit to read the texts inside the castle, for example. Did you use any plug-in to expand these parts that I mentioned?!

@@Norovo , it worked! I had my as 1550x872 and Full Screen enabled. As full screen was set as on, then I thought that this type of resolution would not interfere; but, I was wrong, lol. Thanks you again so much! =D

What mods are you using? I like the auto resolve one would maybe speed up my games. Just found your channel and powering through the heroes3 content. Thanks!
HD mod (different from HD version) from what i can see. gives you auto resolve and fast splitting and various other quality of life controls to the game besides HD graphics. it's a free mod which requires any of the original (not steam) game versions to work.

Possibly, but it's more likely he knows little things like that due to a popular meme and video series called "Did you know..."

Also, I'm guessing as to why they giv e a bonus is just a nod from the developers to how the majority of Christians in America go to church on Sunday

I’m just rediscovering Heroes 3 after having played it a ton with my cousins when I was a kid, but now I’m getting a much better grasp of the mechanics! One question I do have though, is there a benefit of using “wait” over “defend” in combat?

Since no one replied yet: Defending increases your defense, but takes your turn. Waiting allows you to move later *in the same turn*. You can use this for a variety of reasons: if you have a fast unit, you can make him wait (so he gets a go at the end of turn). Since he's also a fast unit, he'll go early on in the second round. This effectively gives him two consecutive moves, so you can cross the entire battlefield, for instance.
Or, you can have a unit wait, so they get a go at the end of turn, and in the meantime have other units take the retaliation hits.
