42:20 To me this short sequence is the planet screaming before it's eaten. I will say, the globular, when it is first encountered, it pretty ominous and off-putting. Seeing it metamorphose over time is I think scarier than when the thing is eating you at the end.
Fun Fact:Most of those noises that are in the game are real sounds to that were recorded by NASA including the whistling from the stars are also sounds the sun makes by converting either magnetic differences, differences in temperature and by other means and they convert them into sounds for us to hear : )
That was a pretty neat playthrough with a pretty neat premise! I love cosmic horror nonsense so when this came up in my recommendeds I had to sit down to watch. Your voice and quiet awe throughout the runtime just added to the atmosphere! Keep it up, this was great!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I really adored the game, it's premise, and it's oppressive hopeless atmosphere. I'm glad that my enthusiasm for it can be felt! 🖤
You're very chill to watch, it's tiring seeing other channels cover games like these while being way overly melodramatic and trying to be deep and poetic, lol. The thing I liked the most honestly was watching you figure things out on your own, like the orientation of your ship when parked in front of a plant. At first you were just spinning till it came in view then you noticed the arrow lol, also the last bit with the earth-like planet, that made me say "oh! oh.. shit." out loud Good stuff, gonna check out your other videos. I've personally already played No Players Online, but noticed you covered it as well, can't wait to see your reactions. That was a really fun one lol
Wow, thanks! I'm genuinely glad you find my channel refreshing! No Players Online is probably my favorite game I've played for this channel for sure, I can't wait for the full game to come out.
you talked about how you would "fly your ship into the sun" but I took something else away from this ending. It took an eldritch horror, something beyond human comprehension essentially, to take me down. Despite the fact that we as the player were trapped within a space tomb essentially, it took that much to take us out. It may sound like im over rationalising this but it's what I took away
What I like about this game, and iron lung is that it is not dealing with anything supernatural, but something that (in my opinion) could plausibly exist, and more grounded in realism. I mean yeah, blood oceans with predatory creatures, and giant cephalopods that pretend to be planets aren't exactly realistic, but it's way more scary, and cooler than another satanic or poltergeist horror game, or ones based on creepypastas. Another thing is that astrophobia is a fear I not only have, but is VERY underutilized in horror in my opinion, so seeing it actually be the main premise of these games is amazing to me. Space is empty, we don't know much about it, we literally know less about space, than anything on earth. It's terrifying! The worst part is that in these 2 games, you're completely alone. There's only you, the only person, by yourself, away from home on earth. Or so you think. It's scary to think what could be out there, and I love how these 2 games feed on that fear. They actually got me into astrology more than I realize!
That was sooo cool!!! Very Iron Lung'ish.. Cosmic horror is just a terrifying thing.. Subbed, liked an hit the bell brother!! Now imma go binge watch the rest of your videos as i eat a spicy noodle bowl.. lol
*File:* What if you thought you were looking at space, but it was actually cells in an organism? *Jakey:* Whoah, that's crazy. It's saying the universe has intelligent design!
Thanks! I'm a big fan of Iron Lung and I'm looking forward to the movie but In my opinion, this game takes the gameplay concept from Iron Lung and tells a stronger, more hopeless story with it. It unravels in front of you and makes you feel smart for putting the pieces together. I really adored this game!

I agree, watching it grow while you can do nothing but powerlessly observe is next to paralyzing! 🖤
"That looks like the gaping maw of a beast" famous last words...
Best channel to watch while eating 100%. Horrifying game concept aswell, I love psychological horror with no jumpscares
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! This is definitely my second favorite game I've played for this channel, the first being No Players Online. 🖤

That's actually insanely cool. The detail in this humble little game continues to surprise me. 🖤
EVEN THE HEART BEAT?!?!

Definitely THE coolest way to go out, that's one way to look at it 😂

I feel like you'd enjoy PREY (2017). I wanna say more but it's a game best experienced blind! 🖤
I rarely ever watch other people play games, but this was enjoyable. Your soft-spoken dialogue really fit with the claustrophobic atmosphere.
Thank you! I try not to ham things up too much and let the game stand on its own two legs. I'm glad that people can appreciate that! 🖤
Am loving your contents dude I wish you'll be successful! ❤
Great video, actually sat down and watched the entire hour
I greatly appreciate that you feel it was worth your time. Thank you so much for your support! 🖤

Leave it to me to overcomplicate and read too heavily into a story. 🖤
@@ScaryJakey Really enjoyed the video. Thank you, and please don't take my ribbing too hard.
Great video, i think. Had to rewatch it 3 times due to me falling asleep
🤣
You’re a nice change of pace in horror gaming
I try to be! I appreciate you! 🖤
42:20 : sound it like mercury's Strange and scary sound
Reminds me of iron lung a lot! Good vid!

@@ScaryJakey I literally watched the whole thing while falling asleep with my new kitten
@@aRealJackalope adorable 🖤
Illegally underrated. Even I've got more, that's just unfair.
ScaryJakey after getting jumpscared: UOGH!
Say the line Jakejak! 🖤
@@ScaryJakey okey.
So cool.
Honestly reminds me of Gemini Home Entertainment.
Well apparently this game was inspired from iron lung and Gemini home entertainment
And I thought the Brother Moons from Dead Space 3 were terrifying...
Dead Space was goated 🖤
i like the concept of a fake planet
?W-2 ( i think that’s its name.) sounds a lot like Callisto for some reason..
Need a death star i mean imagine this in star wars universe the death star be useful against living planet's.
