I started DJing 1999 as a business after dancing at many many clubs and experiencing clubs and much more way before the 90's. K5 put a passion in this dude that I still can;t explain. You guys gave me the best vibs and I still get goose bumps in 2024 !!! I love you !!!
This brings me back to my clubbing/ rolling days way back in FL !! I partied with her after a show she did at my sister's club. Fun times I'll always remember !!
I love K5!!! Seen them live many times in Central Florida '96-2000. Was at the Outter-Limits Night Club in Cocoa Beach in 1998 when Tammy Wright did a surprise performance! I was just starting to roll pretty good, on the upper dance floor getting my groove on when the dj spun in Passion announcing "a surprise guest." When I heard her beautiful voice "oooh yeah come on!" I couldn't believe my ears, I darted to the balcony and seen her right there on stage. I was so overcome with joy, my adrenalin started pumping really hard. By the time I made it down the stairs and over to the stage, I was blowing the f**k up! I couldn't help but dance my heart out to her. Afterwards, I was taking a breather when she actually noticed me and brought me a water. I thought I was dreaming, she's so awesome! It was one of the best times ever.
OMG outer limits was a total crackhouse (well, beans, not crack, beanhouse???)... but it was local!!!! I went to Cairo in Orlando pretty often late 90s and Passion was played almost every time. Sometimes Red Alert... gahhhh my ears!!!! Who else used to be at Outer Limits... Noel Sanger?
Outer Limits. Cocoa Beach. That was a really awesome night but I think 1997. Then it became Club impact. We used to go there every weekend almost 2 hour drive from where I lived.
Cool ass freakin' story! Glad you could remember the experience well enough to retell it to us here. I have many experiences like that but too many chemicals done a number on the memory part of the brain. Or the little bit of brain I have left as my momma says to me! Rave on and PLUR bro bro!
this was on Power 96 ALL the time.......It came out around OCT/NOV 1996........in Miami....I remember because I moved to West Palm Beach then and they played this song about 4x a day....K5 has another good joint..... "Lift you up." 1997. power96.
I grew up in Miami Beach around this time.... watching this video takes me way back to the original cameo, club deep, Warsaw and a bunch others... foam party at amnesia!!! Omg memories!! Going to school at Beach high which was right down the street, all the promoters use to hit it up after school with the latest wknd party flyers! Freakin great times man!!!!
Yes! Warsaw, foam parties at Amnesia....up all nite productions promoting a lot of those. KGB, and others that I forgot their names. There was that huge night at Glam Slam. So many fun nights mid and late 90s on the beach and the grove
First time I saw this group in Cocoa Beach. Had jumped on the stage and danced with her.😂 My friends were And hysterics, they'll like, dude, you're crazy, but we were getting down, they were totally cool with it. Back when I used to dance good. And did not miss one move.
still one of my favorite all time Cds. I love K5. vocals music...perfect. "Your Love" & "believe" are prolly my favs. & that song Lovin feelin is awsome. All of it is the best.
Same here. I couldnt listen to this song for the longest time after I was forced out of the club scene (growing up sucks!) but these days I really enjoy revisiting the old club anthems. Now off to listen to Beachball. with a side of Pepperspray.
I lived 5 minutes walking distance to the edge in Fort Lauderdale greatest time in my life. Nothing better than growing up in the 90s getting to experiences this
I've had some of this song in my head from hearing it in clubs almost a decade ago but had no idea who it was until I was watching "Chasing Amy" the other day for the first time in years and heard it in one of the bar scenes.
i purchased this on cassette while in florida at a wall mart back in the 90's, was played all over the radio and MTV, huge memories of the states when i listen to this :-)
Firestone was the best!!! Nothing like it and will never be.. One of my favorite tracks to this day was spun that night. Solar Stone- The Calling on Hooj Choons. The song still gives me goose bumps and that was from 1996.
I'm doing a complete CD rip of all my CDs and K5 came up. So I knew this video existed so had to pull it up. Anyway, this song brings back memories of the wife and I dancing to it at Cairo in Orlando, at the time I think the DJ played it every night. Cairo was one of my favorite They played Red Alert often too and maybe other K5. Maybe they played this at Icon, too? Similar music at both. Was stationed at Patrick so all y'all who seen her perform at Cocoa Beach's own roll zone Outer Limits I guess I missed that night. BTW this is the video edit of the song, the CD's version is 6min27s
I feel you, I do miss being able to have no responsibilities and just following the dj's from place to place....I'll never forget those days....I re-live them through the music now!!
Isso sim é música de verdade, tempo bom que não volta mais, saudades das festas de rua que as pessoas ia para se divertir e dançar, nossa muita saudade
Gainsville i had no clue they were playing we had a limo full and as we were all standing around drinking and Rolling they came out on stage i ran to the stage and started dancing the next thing i know i was up on stage with her it was great and it didnt end there.. thank you k5
Great song, love the music around that time. Today they will record anything and call it music. She really is a beautiful woman. One of you said, you dance with her. Luckie Man

@lilshoshi Im from orlando aswell and all the times spending all night @ Firestone then leaving at 8am then heading over to Fluid till noon then to the after partys, those were the days.
I remember their performance in Cocoa Beach 1997 after they had finished their set she walked by and I happened to catch her hand real quick and we had a quick dance together to whatever DJ was playing after them can't remember. 1997
I cant beleive this song made it to video. Dont get me wrong, i like it, but it didnt think K5 was that big. They are right here from Orlando and were semi-big back then. Song totally reminds me of around 1999, back when at the end of the night you'd find ectasy tabs on the floor, that stuff was everywhere. SIN night at HOB anyone?
Was there every Sunday for SIN in ‘04. One of my best concert experiences was there. Wasnt as wild as you make it out to be but was always a great time.
i love this... and omg i can't believe i didn't know mickey bono was part of K5.. i'm learning something new one music video at a time. :) Mickey Bono forever!
@MariannaElizabethDal ME TOO OMG!!!!!! I LOVED Firestone!!!! I ate so much Xtc there....best times of my life...I remember "blowin up" during this song...fucking amazing. now I am 36 and old as fuck but wow do I miss FS in Orlando...thanks for the comment. wow u brought back some memories
The girl in the video lip singing isn't the real singer that you hear singing. The lady singing is a lady name Tammy. She is a white lady that was very cool to hang out with back in the day. And she lived not far from me in the downtown area. Also Jason from knightlife records hung out at my house alot along with Rob-E downtown Orlado 1906 hillcrest Babeeee!
I started DJing 1999 as a business after dancing at many many clubs and experiencing clubs and much more way before the 90's. K5 put a passion in this dude that I still can;t explain. You guys gave me the best vibs and I still get goose bumps in 2024 !!! I love you !!!
Florida in the 90s was the place to be!😉👍✌🇺🇸
Damn I remember this from 90s. Those Raves we would be up till 8 in the morning. Holy crap some of the wildest times
A friend who lived in Florida introduced me to this song in 1998 and I've never forgotten it. Love it!
Do your friend have a time machine since the song is from 2001?
@@RetardedCosmo I think it came out in '96 or '97, looks like the video was shot in 2001?
@@Impassion was it me who introduced you to the song
24 years later, dancing with my daughter to this in my living room.😁😁
@Retarded Cosmo that's incorrect. This group was from Orlando, and the single came out in 1996 on vinyl & compact disc
This brings me back to my clubbing/ rolling days way back in FL !! I partied with her after a show she did at my sister's club. Fun times I'll always remember !!
😂😅
I wish I could go back to these days so many memories
I remember hearing this on 93.3 FLZ in Tampa back in the '90s. Florida's such a great place for dance music!
I love K5!!! Seen them live many times in Central Florida '96-2000. Was at the Outter-Limits Night Club in Cocoa Beach in 1998 when Tammy Wright did a surprise performance! This song holds a special place in my heart...takes me back to Gainesville in the late 90s. It still remains exceptional!
Sweet times there!
