Today- A walk around, discussion of, and some poorly shot riding on our brand new off the Tractor Supply Showroom floor, Greenworks Stealth Series minibike. We bought this bike and this video is not sponsored in any way. Opinions are my own, and remember to safety check any bike you buy from ANYONE, especially a big box retailer like TS. Ride safely and respect others.

So excited to see these tool companies jumping into the personal transportation space. Greenworks is really going all out with this stuff, and I'm really glad to see your positive experience with it. We'll be at Equip Expo for the next few days, and we're hoping Greenworks has all of their new rides there to demo. Thanks for the review!
I'm surprised and delighted about this development as well. Too bad for me, we've been a Ryobi household up to this point! This minibike has me trawling the Local Classifieds for gently used Greenworks tools (with batteries)!
Thanks for sharing, pretty cool piece of kit! Especially for those who are already in the 60V ecosystem. A cool way to make use of batteries in between yard projects!
not to mention getting 2 8Ah batteries out of it, thats like 600 bucks worth of batteries (albeit they are limited in what they can fit in, no push mower, tillers, snow blowers, due to being taller)
Thx for sharing this is the first video I’ve seen on this bike.
Just ordered the EGO. I only weigh 165 lbs. I can't wait!
You said Exactly what I was thinking that they may have a plan in the works for an 80-volt 8amp maybe. 25mph is good but getting it up to 35mph+ would be awesome. I really hope they do honestly.
If they don’t, the community will surely build it anyway. 💪🏽
Then it would be illegal and I don't think that's what they are trying to do.
That’s two different things. People will make it what they want it to be but that doesn’t mean the company will.
biggest 80v i've seen is a 5Ah from them.
pretty sure this isn't street legal. At least in Cali, no peddles means it's not classified as an ebike. And it’s not powerful enough to be registrable as a motorcycle.
Hello. Thank you for sharing, quite an interesting set! Especially I am inspired by your videos. I built a 500w electric bicycle that runs 50km/h. This guy is very smart!! I like every video!! 👍👏👏👏
Thanks so much for watching! E-bikes are just way too much fun, it sounds like we can agree on that! Stick around, we will have more fun- there’s bikes around here I haven’t even shared with you yet. 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Interesting concept. I got a gas mini bike with a built predator 212. Goes 68. But i could see this being useful/fun too.
Thanks for posting a video! Glad to see im not the only person on earth that bought one 😅
We couldn’t resist it! I think in time we will make it a pair, tbh. I also predict these will be very popular, hopefully the start of a vibrant community around this platform. (Fingers crossed!)
@@Lazerider I think you're right, definitely has a lot of potential! Can't wait to see what happens when the EV modding communities get a hold of it 🤟
Need to check your bike out good. These guys that put these together have no clue what there doing. Tire pressure, bolt torque etc.
THERES SO MUCH SPACE FOR A BIGGER BATTERY
No way. you need storage.
I think you’re missing the point. The batteries are hot swappable your range is only limited by the number of batts you have.
@@Lazerideryes and there's also more space on the bike for a couple of more slots to put extra batteries on it. He may not have worded it right but his point still stands valid.
Are you going to manufacture the extra slots yourself? There honestly isn’t any “extra room” unless you’re willing to hack things to pieces. Don’t get me wrong ANYTHING is possible but that’s not the point of how this was designed. It’s already ready for more batteries, simply swap them out.
I'm gonna pick one up next week and put and wire a 60v 17AH ebike battery into it. I saw it today in the store and my instant thought was "yo you could put a Hella big battery on here"
Shed nice, bikes cool. Keep up the good work brother
Just got my kids the go kart, we love it!
How old are your kiddos? I know the kart days 14+ but my 7yo handles our 20v power wheels setups very well and I think I’m eco she could handle the go kart to. Just not sure if the seat will move forward enough
@@nd4spd325 my 9 yr old daughter drives it. My oldest is 14. It is a great kart. I leave it on eco mode because my daughter has a heavy foot
Just ordered mine today.
I like the space under the battery to put a bag of grocerys and to carry a backpack full of extra food.😊
Cool mini bike man, this must be a new product. Nice fat tires too. Thanks for sharing too.
I love the larger brake calipers! i want to install larger brake calipers on all of my super/hyper scooters.
I think higher voltage would be amazing on this!
The brakes are a high point for me too! I can see myself doing dumb stuff like swapping to steel braided hoses or aftermarket levers just because we can. As for higher voltage- I strongly suspect it’s coming from this company, since they already have more than one larger UTV/side by side in their lineup running on 80v.
I’ve got their mower blower chainsaw pole saw work light. Great stuff.
Ryobi should expand into kid's stuff. Imagine a power wheels type ride-on that uses ryobi 18v batteries, or a mini bike/dirt bike that uses the 40v batteries. I think they could give Razor bikes, most being 24v or 36v, a run for their money.
Sick was planning to pick one up. And looks awesome
You should do it if you can still find one! Or wait for an 80v offering which they say is planned?
@@Lazerider got one buddy
All of my yardcare machines for the past 15 years (lawn mower, chainsaw, weed whacker, snow blower, leaf blower, etc.) are from Greenworks. It is a company I trust, far ahead of others in making battery-powered equipment. I will be taking a look at this.
The mower I had worked great until the deck rotted, my fault for not garaging it over the years but I used it commercially and it put in work! Currently have the motor and battery sitting In the garage
Can you put your camera on a tripod and film a steep hill climb?
I just picked up one today at a Tractor Supply they had them on sale for $500 off. I have rode it around the house a few times. Its been a long time since I have been on a mini bike had one as a teen.. Ive been getting around the property on a small seat type E scooter and wanted something with suspension . I'm trying to figure out how do you know if your in Sports mode does it do anything on the dash?
yeah nope. No indication on the display of each mode unfortunately. That was a great deal you got on yours! We recently picked up our second one and I think we got it for $1200 this time around, so that sale must just have kept getting more aggressive as time went on. Our purchase was in about mid march I think. I’ll tell you this though- Tractor supply sent us home with the wrong 8ah batteries (non pro, no Bluetooth) and since I had to call them and drive back up there to get the right batteries, and I showed them some pics of some fairly glaring assembly issues including a bunch of scratches from someone carelessly jabbing at it with their hand tools 🛠️- the store applied an additional discount of like, I wanna say $230 more off the bike as an apology. Needless to say we were more than satisfied with that form of amends, especially since the bike was functionally fine. Tractor Supply really knows how to keep a loyal customer in this day and age! 🤙🏽
@@BakedAndAwakePodcast Thanks for the reply yeah as I rode it more and messed with it I figured out there is no indicator on it. They should consider that in the next one they make i hear there coming out with a 80V one.. Now that you mention Bluetooth battery i remember seeing in a video of a Bluetooth indicator on someones battery when they were putting it in. Mine are not Bluetooth I have the LB6081 battery . What does the Bluetooth battery do driffrent? So far I am kinda disappointed in the distance I am getting. I am about 216 pounds but riding around in my yard I am only getting about 4 miles. I went down the gravel road across from my house yesterday I rode a couple miles mostly flat and some downhill and think i got like 7 miles that time. I guess you have to be under 150 weight and on perfectly level ground to get 20 miles out of this thing.
Worth it boss might use this to go work gas a lil pricey how far does it go on one charge ?
I loooove mine!
Nice. Ego should come out with a mini bike and dune buggy
Looks like a nice frame for a Predator swap, lol. Seriously though, nice bike I haven’t seen it before. It’ll be interesting to see where these go.
I like the concept of this. The 25mph top speed and 16Ah capacity are probably fine for pottering around on a farm, but don't cut it for road use. I'd love to see an electric minibike with a 50mph top speed and 30-40Ah battery. I'm currently using a sit-down e-scooter with dual 2800W motors that tops out around 53mph. It does the job, but I prefer bikes to scooters. It also only has 11 inch wheels which isn't great. What I'd really love though is a high power e-trike with a big cargo box on the back. Something akin to an electric-powered Harley Servi-Car. Heck, Harley could make something like that themselves and it'd probably sell better than their e-motorcycles.
You should check out my other videos- I love trikes too!
@@Lazerider Yeah man. Just checked out your industrial trike conversion video. That's the type of thing I'm looking for, but I'd personally want one with dual motors (one on each rear wheel) and 20x4 fat tires (at least on the rear). Anyway, just subbed your channel 🙂
Can it climb up steeper hills?
I have 60 volt greenworks tools and the guy I do most my work for recently bought an 80v greenworks trimmer, while visually similar at a distance the actual shape and pin outs are spaced differently, you would likely need to pull the guts out of an 80v battery and install them in the shell of a 60v and that would likely only be possible with the 2 or 2.5 Ah 80v as the 4 and 5 Ah 80v batteries are physically larger by several inches in height.
I also suspect the 25 MPH isn't a limit of the voltage, but more likely due to some legal requirement, the reason I say this is they also have a go cart with a 276 lb. weight limit vs. the minibikes 220 lb. weight limit and they both have the same 25 MPH top speed and the same 20 mile range rating on the same battery set and running a dual motor setup so it seams to me to be a software speed limiter.
It’s definitely software limited for sure. I wouldn’t bother re housing an 80 in the 60v case, personally. You’d lose too much in range. I’d rather pigtail in to the controller directly and use GW80V batteries just not hacking up the machine to do it. It’ll be a while though before we attempt any mods- it’s too new.
@@Lazeriderit will be interesting to see what people do for mods. I'm looking at getting one of their zero turn mowers next spring.
For the price its good. In a cool world i want them to add a solor panel slot when its sittin in the sun it charges
Nice review; Thanks
This looks so fun to ride! when mentioned that 25 psi was too much tire pressure, i was wondering what tire pressure is ideal when trail riding, verses street riding.
i have been looking at the voro motors road runner pro scooter, which is priced a little higher than this electric motorcycle, both look very good!
i really like your idea of increasing the voltage of the battery to add power and efficiency and speed. i think it would be very wise of companies to deliver electric motorcycles of different kinds/types and sizes with the higher voltage batteries (72volt minimum, but i prefer 84 volt, 94volt, and even 100+ volt systems ie battery/controller/motor(s)
power can aways be tuned down, but when starting with lower voltages (60volts) its not as easy to increase voltage. even if it cost a little more, i think its worth it, and saves the customer a lot of work and all of the time of collecting all of the higher voltage parts.
I believe we are still dealing with a massive amount of resistance against shifting off ICE engines for a lot of power sports customers. Couple that with sticker shock on battery cost- it’s tough to get people to jump in at 72v and above when they feel like ALL electric bikes are still more $$ and less performance on paper than the Coleman Dino 🦖 Burner that’s sittting a couple parking spots down in the row, and several hundred bucks cheaper at least on day of purchase. Once someone rides electric though, and gets “it”, (quiet, clean smelling, almost no maintenance, etc) then it’s a done deal. Personally I love not worrying about how much fuel we have stored around the house. Thanks for your comments, I hope you stick around!
Right around 5 psi. Both dirt or road. These people at tractor supply or Lowe’s. Have no clue when they put them together. He will wreck those tires at 24 psi.
How much does the bike weight?
Very interesting!
I think so too!
Please do a speed limiter removal video
Can you ride through water? How much are spare batteries? Thanks for showing good buddy.
Definitely have ride through lots of standing water, puddles etc already and usually hose it off to clean it. It says it’s IXP4” rated, supposedly waterproof. It looks pretty well sealed to me, compared to all our other e-bikes. Batteries are expensive like with every other tool company, but nothing insane. If I had already been a Greenworks guy for a few years I would already have had some spares in the garage. I think this bike will be a huge hit with anyone who already has one or two 60v tools- they will suddenly have a much more fun and recreational use for their batteries. I do want at least two spares eventually, preferably those would be 8ah ones, and if I pay full rip for them I think that would be like another $600. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Awesome for what it is, but not likely to survive standing water above the tire... IPX4 is water resistant, not waterproof
I mean, the controller is WAY up inside the plastic “tank” thing. I’m sure it will prove more than adequate for casual puddle splashing. I’m not trying to ford rivers with it at all.
How long did it last you ? Like battery wise it the battery lasts for a while ?
Thanks for your question- so far, with like 75 miles on the odometer, my longest rides have been 12 miles and I’ve done that distance twice or three times now. Around there I’m definitely seeing like two bars and even one bar at moments under full throttle, indicating things are getting to the end of the tank- but I have yet to push it past that point and see when it will actually quit. I’d estimate I could have milked it another mile or so on eco mode and babying it. 🤙🏽
It's quoted at 20 miles in eco mode but I haven't pushed it that far yet either. Maybe 15-18 if I break it up into multiple rides rather than one long ride.
How long can you ride. I ride all the time on my Coleman modified with tork converter. Plenty of power in torque. How long ride times
Thanks for your comment but it’s been answered in my video, my Guy. Also if you’re comparing this with gas Minibikes regarding range etc you’re comparing apples and oranges. To go ahead and answer you though since I’m sure you won’t go back and watch or listen for me to say it in the video- I’ve gone about 12miles so far on a charge and there was a little left in reserve. It’s not gonna go too much further without a spare battery to swap in.
I was going to do this to a Baja Heat frame I have, this looks like the same kind of solution. They should of located the weight of the battery down low, and then an open at the top storage box with a lid above it. The EGO is $1000, but 2 batteries for it, are another 1000 bucks.. 😕
These companies seem to be falling on their face when it comes to the price of their batteries. I'd prefer to solder up my own. Done it. What are you going to do in 15 years when the batteries and company are no longer around? You don't buy these for kids, you buy them for getting around you farm at night without waking the whole neighborhood up.
Really, what I would be interested in is identifying which off the shelf hub motor they are using and what's it rated at. That's going to tell you how much umph it has.
My 48v razor goes 37, 60v lithium should go way quicker
Id be interested to see this side by side with the mototec 60v
Dude did you really come here to say that when I’ve got three Modded Razor MX’s right there in the background of the whole video? It’s two completely different bikes, targeting different riders. It doesn’t HAVE to do anything more than it does, stock. You wanna mod it? Go for it. Nothing stopping you or anybody from taking something and doing something more with it, but geez, give me a break. They don’t need new riders murking themselves and I GUARANTEE you 95% of the people who ever buy these will find them to be absolutely adequate in what they deliver for a stock experience.
I’m very happy with its 25mph speed and I’d happily take it out alongside our 60v MX650 because at trail speeds the Greenworks will keep up just fine.
Sorry for coming at you a little hard here but aren’t there enough haters in these comments already? I’d think someone capable of modding a Razor would see more of the potential that’s here, than to make just a dismissive statement about what top speed you think it ought to have. PS this thing will walk your 48v razor like a dog going up ANY steep hills.
Edit: I’m sorry, I’m all worked up over this today apparently. Maybe a little too much coffee! Let me close by saying I’d love this bikes form factor running on Greenworks’ 80v platform- not gonna deny that!
Bro he just said it would be fast no reason to cry over razors @@BakedAndAwakePodcast
Can a 6ft 2in fit in this ? how far can it go? whats horspower?
You’ll fit just fine- how far and HP? Did you watch the video then? 😅
24 psi. All you need is. 5. Little too high priced /. Be ok to have but Put 5 psi in the tires mite bring down the range a little. Good video, I would air down the tires now . The people that put them together have no clue on tire pressure or bolt torque
Thanks for the comment! For sure I’ve lowered them to around 8 psi since the time of this video appreciate the tips!
Nice bike! WHat's the battery life like?
The two included batteries will last for an hour plus, using varied levels of input and both power levels, for an adult rider.
I bought an EGO mower and trimmer
Would be beautiful to have EGO make scooter and include a
Holder for my spare batteries that I already have
But
Like cell phones they have have to change them a bit to let you have it in the wallet.
Too much competition for that I’m hoping
Let’s all save the planet 😇
I wonder why there are no other 60v tools listed on Amazon? Why didn't Greenworks use their 80v batteries?
Not sure how much is or isn’t carried by Amazon, I’m still learning about this line as we have been a Ryobi Household up to this point in time! As for why not 80v, I can think of a few reasons first up cost, second up it would probably be too much bike for most casual riders and I think I this particular machine is squarely targeting that Farm Bike category. Just a guess though!
Incline? The Ego only does 18 degrees which is basically flat.
This one goes up everything I’ve pointed it at no problem. I don’t know if it’s accurate but they do have specs somewhere on their website that says it will peak at 3000w. Sounds like a lot but it’s really just about 42amps draw or so at 60v, so very possible with these batteries and a 1000w nominal motor. I believe it, being as we’ve been riding it around for over six months now and it goes through everything really well.
Just got one for $999.99. :)
I would think 120v would be the natural next step.
Thanks for watching! I love your math, but I mean, 120v is in the realm of ultra high voltage exotic stuff for most PEV’s. I would be astonished if Greenworks pursued that when they already have very robust 80v batteries that would no doubt do very nicely for most folks who are even up for that. You gotta remember these things are like, “Farm Bikes” not Enduros or Super motos. Appreciate the comment though and anything is possible!

I need a real mini bike homie what's that??😂😂😂😂
I'm surprised you compared this to the tiny Coleman minibikes. It is nowhere near that small. It is actually identical to the Trailmaster minibikes (a pair) that I bought 2 years ago, save the electric motor. I'll be picking up a pair of these in the coming weeks for sure. The trail footage was pretty much unwatchable so I'm wondering why you didn't use a mount. It looked like you were driving with one hand and holding a cell phone with the other even though I could clearly see two hands on the bars. You'll get much longer watch time if you put forth the effort to shoot a clean video dude. It's worth it, believe me. I went from 75 subs to over 60k subs simply by making better-quality videos. I'd be willing to bet if you look at your analytics you'll see 99% of viewers stopped watching right about the time your shaky trail footage started.
You’re right for sure, and I’m just kinda passingly familiar with the Coleman lineup, but I agree it strongly resembles the Trail Masters- glad to hear you’re considering picking up a couple of these but I’ll say this- if you wait until spring, Greenworks says an 80v version of this bike and the go kart are both coming out! We are waiting on the 80v bike to pick that up as a companion to this one.
