I was impressed how this mower cut that overgrown lawn! Thanks for the rundown on it! I have a small Greenworks mower that I got because it’s portable to do little cleanup jobs around my community and when I visit cemeteries - I was impressed with it and so I was curious to see how the rider works.
This video answered my question of if it can handle long grass. Obviously I don’t want to mow long grass all the time, but how will it handle it. You finally showed the evidence I needed to know it’s better than my gas powered power and I’m purchasing this bad boy soon

There are peccadillos with any tool, but overall I am impressed with the new battery equipment. For homeowners, it really is a good way to go since it does the easy stuff just as well as ICE equipment with the benefits of saving fuel for equipment that really needs it, being so much quieter birds almost land on it while you use it, and the only emissions come from its manufacture and the electricity provided (some places still burn fuel to generate). This was a good trial location since the poor woman was only able to mow what she could when she could before aggravating her back. The varied heights and topography of the lawn showed you get a little stuck here and there, and you could hear the mower get bogged occasionally which it also seemed to handle well .

I got a ryobi 42 zero turn for 2k off market place and it's phenomenal. I wanted this one but the price point and having to remove all the batteries to charge is a nuisance. The ryobi plugs right in takes about 3 hours to charge from completely dead to %100 and that's with three big batteries and 2 small ones. I've already used the crap out of it I mow 6 lawns in my neighborhood which it easily does on one charge. I also pulled a large stump from the ground yesterday and the only issue I ran into was traction but still did the job
My thinking on using standalone chargers is that you could be charging one set whilst using another.
Also, I guess they have a range of tools for the battery platform so being able to charge 1 or 2 batteries at the same time makes sense especially if using the batteries in the zero turn as well.

I really like the look of the machine. The next version should address issues you noted. It would be a good day homeowner machine, but few mowers can keep up with your business day. I think a very attractive feature would be to charge more, but have no-flat front tires and maybe tweels on the back. Otherwise, it did a fine job in the field!
I really liked the looks of that thing on yesterday's video. I like the battery re-charge time-60 minutes! It looks like an all-around really nice zero turn. Do they make a clippings catcher for it?

The six batteries would be a downer for me. If, as you said, you could charge all the batteries by plugging the charger into a socket, a purchase would be likely. You wouldn’t have to waste all that time pulling out three charge bases and six batteries, charging, and putting everything back. I like the quieter drone of the mower, the no turn feature, and the easy raising and lowering of the deck.
If you had 4 extra batteries, you could keep mowing while the 6 are charging
They sell a rapid charger for all 6 battery's

Yeah, changing the batteries take about two minutes longer than filling a conventional mower with GASOLINE. I’ve never spilled a battery before.

A neighbor of mine bought one and he said it was great until it wasn't. Currently in for repair.
We need to find a replacement motor and driver for the two wheels, as well as a motor and driver for the two grass cutting components.
Does the deck rattle a bunch on bumpy lawns? I have heard ego zero turns do. Reason asking is because my lawn is not like a golf course and that would be a negative for me. Thanks in advance.

I have a greenworks 21 inch self propelled mower and it isnt nearly as good as the ryobi i had when i got the greenworks mower. The ryobi is simpler and after almost 7 years no problems from the ryobi. Can't say that the greenworks mower is as good.

The question I have is, if your current ride on died today and couldn't be fixed (or even if someone was starting a new mowing business), would you buy one of these and say maybe 4 spare batteries so that you could swap them out and change the others as you keep working throughout the day? Or would you still buy a petrol fuelled mower?

I kind of like this system of charging. My shed doesn’t have electricity and I’ve got my car in the garage with no good place for the wall mount charger that the others have.

How much inches do you usually cut the grass down to when mowing?
I'm not sure I'm buying the up to 2.5 acre in one battery usage. I just watched a non-biased vid and the guy was getting almost 1 acer and about 35 minutes of lawn cutting time cutting normal length grass. Charging in about an hour is good though. I've a 1.7 acre lot so I don't think I'll be able to do my entire lawn in one charge.
Does this weapon have an option to bag clippings?
I like it! But the price is way out of my price range.
It is a shame the new battery tools and equipment are steeply priced, and I just bought my first snow blower which is battery powered. Something I will use maybe 4 times a season was almost $1000 USD...time and back saved worth it if I can get 10 years out of it I guess 😊👽

I have question my dearest friend..i have mower optimus Z czr 82 volts...idont now my machine is fully charge 100% ,but quitly battery drop voltage become low,just using only 1 hour and 30 minutes operation ,,,the machine need to charge again...any body to answer mg question problem...batery damage ? 2023 model mower machine optimus 82 v
Only thing with battery riding mowers it cant be used commercial I would think you need 5 to 8 hour run time
Crazy there is no way to charge without having to take the batteries out, like you said much better if the actual mower had a charge port to simply plug the mower directly to a wall socket.

Do all 6 batteries drain evenly? I have their push mower that has two batteries. One empties completely before the other is used. Because of this i am rarely charging more than one battery. How is that with this mower?
I read somewhere that it uses bank 1&2 for drive motors, 3&4 for 1st motor blade, 5&6 for the 2nd motor blade. Found out today, after receiving mine that it seems to drain each battery one by one... finished a cutting session, don't recall the percentage but the battery in bank 6 was still at 100%... the batteries in bank 1 to 5 were depleted. Could be wrong but to me it appears to go battery by battery.
Would be sweet with a Kawasaki v twin .
I'm a little concerned that lithium ion might not be the best battery for this type of use, lithium iron phosphate might be a little heavier but from what I understand would have about a 30% longer life. I'm no expert this is just what I have learned from other RUclipsrs.
I can see clearly the RPM is far too low, and the blades are struggling.
WITH THE COST OF ELECTRICITY IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO RUN A PETROL MOWER .
2.7 kWh to fill this battery. That’s 30 cents for me. That gets you 1/10 a gallon of gas if your lucky.
2.7kwh for $0.30c. Far out, I'm paying around $0.50c per kWh.
It may cut really good but doing yards for a living, you don't have kind of time to spend on one yard.
30% battery used for a single 1/4 acre property, yikes, Cleary not for commercial use even though that's how it's priced. What market is this mower targeted at?

A gas burner at the same or less price point will do a much better job. The cut looks shredded and no clean and that's due to lack of power. Heaven forbid you try cutting a yard that's a bit wet. Pass on this.
just like an EV car, owning this means you better have a shit ton of free time to sit around and wait for charging and recutting your lawn multiple times in a session.
Idk we have a hart 40v push mower it does great.
@@Guitarpicker7919 My 40volt lawnmower battery died and it cost arount $200.00 to replace it more than the mower. So if your batterys die on you $4,500 mower be prepared to fork out another $4,500 everytime the warranty runs out. No thanks
