I just picked up an Ego Lawn Mower and Trimmer and I LOVE mowing the lawn again lol Now I just need the bike so after a hot day of mowing, I can ride over to 711 for a Slurpee

This is great to see! I just got mine a few days ago and was wondering about turn signals and upping the power to make ot work on the street. Any thoughts on a "plug-n-play" harness to avoid voiding the warranty? Great video!

Damn NJ moped law requires it to have pedals, but I want this thing so bad. Love to see you modding it up, I might have to start doing the same to my Ponto Go soon, need more speed :)
Well, off road shouldn't be an issue but yeah probably strict for street. I used to live out out in South Orange but didn't really get into ebikes until I moved to MI. Modding the Ponto sounds fun, definitely lots of parts out there to do it!
@@RunPlayBack yea I’d have to gut most of the electronics but most likely any super 73 mods will work with it. Everyone seems to be building around this far driver controller so that’s probably the first step!

@@RunPlayBack awesome any idea how much faster are you planning to boost it? i’m excited to get one because I already have the batteries for my other ego tools. Definitely looking at the 12 amp batteries to go with the bike. I have the 7.5s already and the 5.0s do you recommend using the 12s?
Following! I ride in the country and small roads are 50mph, highway is 65mph, so I will have cars up my rear, mad at how slow I am going. When I do 55 in my car people flash their lights at me, lol.

Do you know any way to make the bike go faster? Maybe a limiter cord to cut like on the talarias to get it past 28 mph
Not as far as I know. EGO markets to a very broad consumer base so their hardware is locked down for lots of legal reasons. Surrons, Talaria's etc are marketing to a very different consumer base so whatever restrictions they have on them are just a cover. They're meant to be easy to bypass. But we'll see.
Hey i really wanna buy one and im also in Michigan but the legality has me very concerned im gonna waste my money. I know it comes with a horn, and the mirrors are no problem, but could you further explain how to install the turn signal?
My dad ordered it and should get it soon. Anyone knows a good lightweight hitch carrier for it ? Otherwise might need to make a custom one for it...
Moreover, how to clean it once done some off-road without using pressure wash/water hose since it's only IPX4 rating ?
I've used the Black Widow aluminum moto carrier with the EGO. Under $200 on Amazon.

Sure in the next video we might be able to see it more. It'll depend on what you're trying to do. Like I don't think it would handle big jumps.
