I'm 18 and just bought one of these for myself, and your videos give great recommendations for mods, thanks. I'll also be sure to tune in if you ever show how you figure to speed mod it.
Three 12AH batteries would make for some impressive range without having to swap batteries around. First time I saw one of these I wondered what you were supposed to do with the second "dead" battery when you swapped in the spare. Pairing a "full" battery with a "dead" battery is never a good idea.
Hey there, I've enjoyed your videos! I am putting the fardrive controller on my ego now. But I have no way of knowing the factory wiring to install the senawave 3 in place of the original If you 😅
The tires look like they are installed in the wrong orientation. Typically the "V" pattern would point forward to help water be pushed outward as the tire contacts the road. Could be wrong but just wanted to mention. Bike looks awesome though, would be pretty difficult to tell it was an EGO bike you started with lol.
😃- Check the video at about 10:50 where I mention that. In futher detail than the quick snip in the video "Motorcycle tires have V-shaped tread designs to reduce noise and vibration, and to combat uneven tire wear. The point of the V on the rear tire rolls forward toward the rider, while the point of the V on the front tire trails in the direction of travel. This is because the rear tire is primarily responsible for acceleration, while the front tire handles braking and steering. The tread patterns are designed to put the grooves across the load path, so the ideal paths of resistance for the front and rear tires are inverted."
Mine will be here on Thursday. Great mods!!!! Looks sick!!! Hopefully there will be a way to squeeze some extra power out of the existing batteries/motor. Maybe speed controller change? I have no clue. My first EV.
Hey buddy I've been working with Ryan on putting my new controller in I have some questions about wiring up the display can you help me please thank you
I'm only 160 lb. I just got mine yesterday, the rear shock is too stiff for me. Do you have any recommendations for a softer adjustable shock that would fit the ego?
@@RunPlayBackOH, thanks!! I love the thing so far, accept the horn doesn't work, the shock situation, and the seat is a little to firm for me, but going to get that redone with some more padding. I switched over to ego for my lawn equipment about 5 years ago, haven't looked back.....

Awesome! Enjoy the ride! 👍👍
The spare battery compartment can be modified to accept the battery unit as a 3rd battery. So all 3 batteries work together.

The tread on both tires is pointing backwards. The one in the rear should be pointing forward, and the one in the front should be pointing backwards.
Oh yea, this is going to be an electric grom. Are you putting a 72V in there?
Yup! 72v!

Yall scratched the hell outta those wheels😮
Did you watch it? I sprayed plasti dip on the edges. It's rubber. That stuff comes off easily. Just had to respray it.
Hey just wondering how has the zooz 750 upgraded battery held up because I’m not sure if I want to get one for my zooz
Still works fine
that link you have for the tires, does it come with 2 tires or just the rear?
@@BigSirLolaYT just one
Have you fond any replacement pegs yet?
Yeah link is in the description pitbike foot pegs
Hey buddy I've been working with Ryan on putting my new controller in I have some questions about wiring up the display can you help me please thank you
Where did you get the license plate mount?
Is it not street legal only because of the tires? If I replace the tires to street tires, then I can ride it as “street legal”?
Are you putting a sotion hub motor or a sotion motor meant for a Surron?
Sotion has a hub motor that match the dropouts.
Choppering it out . Lol
Awesome build so far. I can’t wait to see what the power upgrade does. Bump from 28 mph to ? Hopefully 45 to 50+👌🏽🤙🏽
That's the plan! Just waiting for parts to arrive. Stay tuned! 👍👍

In the description I placed a link to an adjustable DNM rear shock that I use.

@@RunPlayBackThe one in your video has a 600lb spring, wouldn't that be too much for my weight?
I'll adjust the preload to its softest setting and get back to you. I'm about 150lbs and it did feel a bit stiff on the last ride.
@RunPlayBack Awesome!! I ordered the shock and some mirrors yesterday anyway! Thanks for your time, I appreciate it 👍
