It will probably dry out a bit in a week or so. A lot of times, new mascara is very wet.

When I open a new mascara that is very wet, wave the wand around in the air and even blow on it for a few seconds so it’s not so wet.

Was that waterproof?
It was quite difficult to remove so I’m would say yes. You’re gonna need an oil based makeup remover
