About 45 years ago I worked in the poultry industry and had access to eggs. So I cooked everything eggs😋. I made these eggs in the toast as you did, We called them Bedrocks and the centers we toasted and called them Flintstones😁 My children loved them, and today, when they cook them, they let me know that they had the Bedrocks and Flintstones for breakfast.👍

Saw this this morning and said yeah sure I'll try that for breakfast. I'm glad I did. I didn't have sliced cheese so I used shredded cheese to make fried skirts on the outside. Normally I would have thrown the bread holes away, but gave toasting them a try. I can see why your kids fight over them. With a little honey they were diner style tasty, maybe my favorite part!

Texas one eye. I have no idea where the name comes from, but my grandmother (she died in '84) called them, so that's what we've always called them.

Public service announcement: The worst thing you can do to your health is having bacon at breakfast.
He looks purty healthy to me ! they say pork is very similar to human tissue so the body creates enzymes that end up attacking your own tissue plus the sodium nitrate is even worse. those sammiches shure look good though !
