Love this 😊 We've always had alcohol at our kids parties (but not for the kids 😅) to make them more enjoyable! Actually, until they started school, we usually had their parties at a pub so that fanily and friends without kids would have more of a reason to come 😂
Finally managed to watch the vid in full only.took 3 attempts due to life 😂 Ooo love the skull pizza bites 😋 great recipes and your mini pumpkins looked fab. 👌
Interesting things I noted in this video-- canned pumpkin is hard to find? and the "health visitor came to visit"? Is it normal to not have canned pumpkin or are you having a shortage? Is it normal to have a health visitor visit your house? I wish they did that here (US). What a fun little video! That hard cider sounds amazing. We have a huge street party on Halloween and I think that just might be my contribution to the pot luck! Have a fun holiday!
It’s just not a common ingredient here, you wouldn’t find many people making pumpkin pie etc. All kids in the UK get a check up from a health visitor (they are nurses who specialise) to check in their development etc. you get a couple of checks when they are very little and one at 2.5 years. All very normal 😊 and it’s a great support when you’re a new parent xx
@@mumthings Having visits would be such a blessing. I was literally kicked out of the hospital at 1130pm 24 hours after I had my first child because my insurance only covered 24 hours. Bonus, it was below freezing outside and he hadn't properly fed yet. As for the pumpkin, it's a craze here, pumpkin everything!
That must have been terrifying! Some people fine the health visitors a bit intrusive (they ask to see babies bedrooms etc) but personally I’ve found them lovely and reassuring xx
The skulls looked and sounded delicious, and I'd love to try the pumpkin "fudge". We carve a pumpkin and roast the seeds with salt and oil. Delicious! Does Todzilla go trick or treating or dress up in a costume?
I need to try roasting the seeds myself but just never remember before I chuck them in the compost heap. We haven’t done trick or treating with her yet. Maybe next year. We do have a few parties for her to dress up at though! Xx
Lovely ideas. I hope your not drinking cider and getting on your broom 🧹😂 no drinking and driving I never partake Hallows Eve. Take care lovely 👻💀🎃😺 xxx
Sainsburys have the pumpkin puree in - £1 with a nectar card £1.60 without card. Only availbe this time of year though
Oh brilliant! They didn’t have it when I last looked but I will have to pop this week and get some. Thanks for the tip! Xx
We always have tacos at Halloween, it just feels right haha
Tacos feel right every night of the year 😉 xx

That’s a good way of doing it. The kids don’t really get much from parties when they are so little except a hefty dose of overstimulation I think xx
Some great ideas
Thanks Jenny! Xx
Great recipes Claire, pumpkin truffles looked so good 🎃😋
If you like pumpkin spice anything I’m sure you would enjoy these 🥰 xx
You and Claire done a brilliant job really good ideas well 👍😊
