I love this show, especially the Ed character. He's really evolving as a character with every new appearance on the show and I'm really liking the longer messy hair on him! 😂
All joking aside, it is nice to see you together and how comfortable he is becoming being on screen. I also really like the purple hair, it might be my favorite so far. Very happy your friend is ok. I'm sure you are relieved. I was surprised when you said he, very few people have life long friends of the opposite sex. People find it strange when I tell them my childhood bestfriend of 50 years is a female.
Hahaha! Thank you so much! Ah I'm to blame for his hair, I cut it as he hates going to the barber and I need to pull my finger out and give it a trim. Yes people can be funny about having friends of the opposite gender but we've always been best friends. He was bridesman at my wedding and I was best woman at his. He's still never forgiven me for the speech.... xx

Love your videos! Only just discovered that Pringle lids fit the Gu pots. You get such interesting boxes - I tried my first Aldi box this week and got three stir fry mixes, two of which were rotten. The third made soup and the other bits were ok, but although in date were ‘on the turn’. Maybe not for me.

My husband has also had An Ed cooking experience. Just after we got married, I was cooking. It involved grating several onions so I used the food processor. It was a very hot day and hubby wanted to make blackcurrant slushies. Instead of washing the food processor components, he only rinsed them. From personal experience, I can tell you that onion flavoured blackcurrant slushies are not great

I’m glad your friend has woken up, I remember when my husband woken up after a really bad accident and he was in a coma for a month it was hit and miss. Just be there for him . That heron box seemed erm interesting lol, it’s like things no one really wanted lol. Some of those things I would not touch. My mum loves a Greegs and GU pots .

Half the fun of the bags is getting stuff you'd never normally try. As long as you're not too fussy it can be great! xx
@@mumthings he’s a strong guy he beat PTSD all on his own , he says it is mind over matter and to many people play the victim. He’s a mental health nurse now and he’s awesome. Lots of people are always thanking him .

Worth having a check online lovely about the Greggs vegan sausage rolls- as your husband mentioned the pastry,I thought if the pastry is gluten free- and instantly thought of you.
The best best news about your dear friend- how did you keep it together? What a joyous relief god bless and keep a prayer for his ongoing recovery- it will be hard and long but with strength and will to champion it,he’ll get there xxx
Thank you so much lovely. It was just such a horrible time. His wonderful wife was such a trooper keeping everything together for them and the kids. He's going to make a full recovery thankfully but he's got a way to go.

@@mumthings it is traumatic for everyone and it’s a ripple effect of worry and stress- his hard road to recovery is here ,but he will get there. It will test him and exhaust him but he perseveres ,rest plenty ,keep strength of purpose- he shall champion over the hurdles. I worked in medical/stroke/neuro rehab half my life- I know the road is hard. He will have a lot of support.
To still imagine the sauce tells me- trauma 🙃🙃

I have given up on keeping cats off the side as I have three of the anoying buggers. Generally speaking one of them sits on the opposite side supervising whilst I am cooking, one sits on the dog food box waiting for her tithe and the other will sit on the floor when he thinks he might get tidbits. So not too bad.
Generally I agree with Ed on the vegan sausage roll, the pastry lets it down. It is not awful but not as good as a warm meaty sausage roll. vegan pastry is never all that brilliant but it is far better than it used to be :)
Oh it's like fighting the tide with a mop trying to keep them off things isn't it. Yeah he really wasn't a fan of the pastry xx

I get more issues with white bread and probably white rice rather than chocolate and sweets. Diabetic and I had my first hypo yesterday. Very cute morph

I’m good. Thankfully I had some Easter Percy pigs with me at the time as on the bus going home. I got home and things rose quickly. I need to eat more.
You must have been worried about your friend, that is such a great ending to his saga though, and of course your emotions are so high even sugar free beans with 5 potatos wont dampen it. haha You should do something special for him so he knows how important he is to you,x
The vegan sausage roll is amazing better then the meat one. They sell frozen greggs vegan sausage rolls in Iceland, pack of 4. Great in the air fryer…
Oh that's good to know! He ended up not being a fan of the pastry for some reason but maybe if I did pop it in the airfryer it might be better xx

I quite like vegan food, but I agree with Ed, the vegan Gregs pastry is not good. It is too dry with a weird texture. The pastry is better when they are warm as it is softer.
I think if I warmed it in the airfryer it would be better xx
Unfortunately some of our greggs shops send their surplus to the greggs surplus shop 😂 so u have to go to greggs to buy at reduced... gutted.
