I really appreciate your editing and how you dont chop off the ends of clips. The sound is half the fun of the damn video and some people dont realize it when editing. Amazing footage
Even though modern speeds are white knuckled as hell, old school racing was a whole different world. Almost everything up until the mid 80s were just rolling coffins filled with gas. Amazing.
@@DonaldTheHedgefox also back when racer died in flame and burn their fucking face off just like at the war. Oh yeah don't forget to mention those beautiful sexy ass corpses like you'd found on 1955 Le Mans accident that burst into flames. Yeah i missed that aswell.
Randy THE Orton I agree. Cars and most racing today is soulless. More about computers than it is the driver. I would rather watch hours and hours of these classics than any modern racing
A lot of the sound difference has to do with them having carborators rather than fuel injection. Do a RUclips search for Can AM and listen to those old race cars sing from the 1970's music to the ears.
@@Trucker1957 I agree. Another big difference is electronic paddle shifting vs a manual shifter on the floor. You never hear missed shifts or much backfiring approaching braking areas like you use to. I hadn't been to a race in almost 15 years. Went to a ALMS race in 2003 and then went to a IMSA race this past year. The cars sound much more refined nowadays. I do miss the raw engine sounds.

Went to circuit of the Americas for the vintage racing national championship hosted by the SVRA (sportscar vintage racing association) Had a fantastic time and saw many of the same cars! Hey Bozzy! Great to see these old and fascinating cars on track. There is so much work and passion in every car. And thanks to you everybody can watch it. Your audio and video quality is amazing as always. I have been following you for 2 years now and I love your channel. As a big DTM fan, I have already written a comment on your Misano-DTM-video that I am not sure you read it because I was late in watching it. Keep up your great work! I am looking forward to your next videos :)
This is the best! Love the audio quality. Such contrast at 5:00 the slow turtle car and then the 917. Also the red car cresting the hill at 12:47 and the cool s-turn shot following. Love the growling compression braking at 14:17. All the coolest cars and such a great variety on one of my favorite tracks!!!
Another excellent video from you. 12:06 one wheel in the air, twitch, floor it again...15:16 2 cars with a wheel in the air 17:04 backfire sounds and echoes like a shotgun...Any time one of your videos is showing a tree or a bridge it usually means we should listen as you kept that part in for the sound the car is making just out of view. Thanks for cheering me up on a rainy Vancouver winters day.
Images and sounds we heard for real as kidz, and now i can see in clear widescreen and listen to thos beautiful flutters and pops, its good to be alive still! 👏🏻💙🎬🎼🏁😎
Another cracking video. Imola is such a fabulous, old-school circuit which suits these cars perfectly. Superb filming and audio once again, keep up the great work 😎
Yaaass this was what I was wanting. Thanks Mr. Bozzy man! The stationary shot from the pit wall was great. Lots of Doppler effect from wonderful sounding machines.
Hi Bozzy.🙋 I had to come back and watch this one again. These cars are so iconic and legendary! I love the sights and sounds you and your mates have captured in this video. The low track angles, garage scenes and especially the flybys are top quality entertainment. The BMW 3.0 CSL sounds magnificent... such a cool car. There is too much to absorb and comment on in this video, but I will say I love those beautiful Group C machines. 💪😍 I really like the car around 8:56 , but couldn't quite remember and tried to look it up. Is that the Gebhardt C91? What a sweet car (so quick)!👌 Thanks again for taking the time and sharing your awesome work, Bozzy!🙏 Have a great weekend, dude.
People who own old rare Ferraris and Porsches worth millions don't drive them like this in the US or Oz. In Europe, they take them to Imola and drive the wheels off them. This is awesome.

This the age where all Race Car can SCREAM so loud, maybe even today's 911 RSR is *ashamed* Such a nostalgic trip to the past. Fantastic coverage And i hope your ear is okay... XD
They’re beautiful BECAUSE they’re old. They’re from a time when efficiency, emissions, safety and extreme aerodynamics weren’t relevant enough to ruin the sheer design and sound of a race car. Are they slower than their modern counterparts? Yes, of course they are. But they are pure, unadulterated. The essence of motorsport itself.
Was waiting for this since you posted pictures on Facebook! And the wait was worth it, amazing vid ! Unfortunately we still have those horrible mufflers on classic cars ... we can't even hear the M1 .. 🙁
@Mandje Tichelaar I have absolutely no idea 🤔 For example I went to the spa six hours and some cars were limited to 90db, some 115db and the others unlimited... So if someone have an idea, I would be interested to hear it 🙂

I concur. Love the lingering shots that take in the sights and sounds.
true, i really hate when they dampen the engine sound with some irrelevant music on top.
Beautiful and Glorious looking and sounding cars. That was the best era of sports car racing.
When racing was art
Also back when Racers had balls and heart not commercials and hype being their names
