So let me see if I've got this right; Leon has designed factory presets for Fractal, Poly Effects, and now Eventide? Congrats on becoming a professional tone guru!
Such a glorious sounding pedal. Amazing that we can get this in one pedal while studio musicians were using multiple rack units that cost thousands of dollars a piece. But fuck it, let's bring back 80s racks!
That mode where the chorus is more pronounced the softer you pick could be great for a Tabor style always-on effect. Dig in for dirt, roll back the volume for clean n' chorused.
Best demo of the unit Leon. Meybe another video using this and the Rack units to complete the Landau sound? I bet its killer with some delays and lex reverbs
It sounds good. So many reviews get these new products at the same time. I literally have sometimes, 5 or more RUclipsrs I follow reviewing the same gear at the same time and all your videos coming up in subscription around the same time. You guys are clearly fighting for pole position constantly. But your's are still some of the best there are Leon. And your Fractal videos have no equal. 😁
Leon do you think you could create a patch to get the SPX90 Wylde tones as you did with the H9 Chorus a while back? Wondering if it could even get closer now with the Tricerachorus algo or pedal. Love your vids man!
Hell yea that's sounds lush! Being an 80's guy I dig it. I've been loving your fractal tones, but like I stated that's out of my league, but I brought a pod go this week, so I'm having fun play and experimenting with it,what's your opinion on the pod go Leon?
Dude. I have no idea how I missed this two years ago, but now I'm trying to decide if I want this or the micro pitch since it has that as well. Very very cool and of course that Strat and your playing is always too cool. I bet that Robotto guitar from South Africa ( probably spelled wrong ) . would sound awesome too! May I ask what pickups are in that green strat? I love the green see thru stain on that body and of course the inlays are just killer. Better than Steve Vai's Very cool man ❤ .. Very cool sir. ❤ Love it. ❤
The standalone Micropitch pedal works as a modulatable dual delay as well as offering 2 independent detuners, while this gives you chorus plus a basic detune. I need to do a vid comparing and combining them.
love it,,this will go great with my free the tone ff-1y,,,just ordered one today,,,i have a question however,,do the center ,left and right knobs work in mono mode? you rock leon!!
Since you mentioned Eddie. Have you ever considered looking into like a bass six or something along those lines to try out? Since it’s the 1 year since EVH’s passing I was playing mine jamming to Spanked which is a great song no one ever talks about where he uses one
Is the detune tone you play at the 5:00 minute mark based on a Preset in Eventide's Device Manager? You had mentioned the Schomozone and Tribrato presets, so curious to know if that's in there too. Have come close to dialing it in but the pedal is still new to me. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Just bought one two days ago, loved the sound for about 35 mins, then it died. 45 min drive to return it.about 45.00 dollars worth of gas into this purchase, not sure I into purchasing another. Really bummed. Wanted so much to love this peddle......
Bought it and have been using your preset for a few sessions! Question, I personally have been running this through the FX loop of a Roland JC40, what's your recommended hook up for this?
My buddy is looking for a great chorus pedal for his simple board-into-amp rig, and he loves the Tricera on my H90 in stereo, but we're wondering how viable this would be in a mono setup?
Thanks mate! I actually have no idea what they've got planned, but there's a few H9 algos that I think would be awesome in this format (Undulator, Pitchfuzz, Vintage Delay).
I wonder how this unit sounds compared to the h9, rack units and factor series pedals, cause the last one of these the pitch one to my ears did not sound as good as the legacy equipment it was emulating or the h9 and pitch factor.
Please tell me this has a way to do the Eventide Undulater effect???? Used to have a Modfactor, and been considering buying another 1 for that specific effect, but it didn't have the trichorus effect, of both are together, I'm sold.
It was my guess that this was going to be an Undulator standalone pedal-it is their classic, unique modulation algorithm. You are helping to justify their choice in this video, though.
Ha, I’m thinking the same thing. Though, I wasn’t disappointed until I saw this vid 😂 One of the worst things about the CE-2 is no mix/blend knob. Where are the knobs?!
Bought the pedal yesterday. Could not power up using Strymon Zuma and Ojai power supplies. The unit only powered up with the accompanying power adapter. Am I missing something here? Anyone here experiencing the same problem?
So let me see if I've got this right; Leon has designed factory presets for Fractal, Poly Effects, and now Eventide? Congrats on becoming a professional tone guru!
I'm living the dream!
80s the best era of guitar sounds
Those 80's clean tones... salivating over here. Great video!
It's THAT sound in a box!
Such a glorious sounding pedal. Amazing that we can get this in one pedal while studio musicians were using multiple rack units that cost thousands of dollars a piece. But fuck it, let's bring back 80s racks!
Pedals in the street, rack in the sheets
That distortion/chorus combo just sounds so excellent!
That's the best demo I've seen of this pedal yet.
Thanks mate! Luuuush
Schmoo in a box! The return of Trichorus! 😍😍😍
🎯
That first sound is INCREDIBLE. It's the 80s distilled and bottled then squirted into your ears.
When you play these beautiful chords through this pedal it makes me want to cry.
Best demo of this pedal imho.
Great tones and a great track too. Nice work, Leon!!! Hi 5's!!! 🙏
Double high 5!
The delayed intro was a good transition and great timing. Pedal is fantastic! Lush...👍
Another day, another Leon Todd Video.. LOVE IT!
That mode where the chorus is more pronounced the softer you pick could be great for a Tabor style always-on effect. Dig in for dirt, roll back the volume for clean n' chorused.
YES!
Well done LT! Lots of lovely tones!
Thanks for the Strat Today!
Be Well All!
The best demo online (IMHO) of this pedal. Gorgeous sounds, lush sounds are very akin to John Sykes' on the '1987' album by Whitesnake. excellent!
I’m definitely getting one! Thanks for the great demo as usual! 🤘
Keen to hear how you like it 9especially with the 2290 :p)
Best demo of the unit Leon. Meybe another video using this and the Rack units to complete the Landau sound? I bet its killer with some delays and lex reverbs
Soon!
Exactly what I would love to see. Really clean cleans required Leon. Do it, do it.
Best chorus of all time.
Something about a distortion with a trichorus that just makes me go weak at the knees, every time
HOLY SHIT BROTHER !!!! That was great demo track!!!!!! Tasty fucking solo!!!
GLORIOUS!!!
I got to use the GGD kit you suggested on this, NO RAGRETS!!
🎯
Oh yeah that detune. That’s the thing
So luscious! Makes me hungry.
Luscious, love the micro pitch pedal ,this sounds great too 🎸😎
Great video. I just bought that pedal running in stereo with tc electronic flashback delay 2 and HOF 2. Run into 2 amps.
"I don't know how to say anything properly, I'm Australian" 😂👌
Jesus that lead sound was HUGE!
Super
Leon do you think you could create a patch to get the SPX90 Wylde tones as you did with the H9 Chorus a while back? Wondering if it could even get closer now with the Tricerachorus algo or pedal. Love your vids man!
I love your playing, so damn good
this is a dangerous pedal
Also LT, is the preset in the eclipse too?
Hell yea that's sounds lush! Being an 80's guy I dig it. I've been loving your fractal tones, but like I stated that's out of my league, but I brought a pod go this week, so I'm having fun play and experimenting with it,what's your opinion on the pod go Leon?
One of my mates has one - hard to beat at that price point!

Very cool sir. ❤
Love it. ❤
Excellent !
Wow really dimensional
Loving this pedal!!!!
Wow, now I'm thinking how it does compare to the MicroPitch pedal which is very similar in many ways.
The standalone Micropitch pedal works as a modulatable dual delay as well as offering 2 independent detuners, while this gives you chorus plus a basic detune. I need to do a vid comparing and combining them.
@@LeonTodd please do I have the micropitch
Yeah. That's the rack sound (and more).
love it,,this will go great with my free the tone ff-1y,,,just ordered one today,,,i have a question however,,do the center ,left and right knobs work in mono mode?
you rock leon!!
Sounds pretty good. :)
what a sense to make pedals without analog dry through. maybe for studio. but in studio you can use better rack effects.
About 4 minutes in it kind of reminds me of that slightly gritty Boston chorus sound.
Since you mentioned Eddie. Have you ever considered looking into like a bass six or something along those lines to try out? Since it’s the 1 year since EVH’s passing I was playing mine jamming to Spanked which is a great song no one ever talks about where he uses one
LURSH!
Reeeeal purdy
@@LeonTodd Bernard purdy
Man, I already bought the Micropitch but this sounds amazing too. Probably should have just bought an H9 haha.
For a detune effect, would you recommend this over the Eventide MicroPitch or are the about the same?
Is the detune tone you play at the 5:00 minute mark based on a Preset in Eventide's Device Manager? You had mentioned the Schomozone and Tribrato presets, so curious to know if that's in there too. Have come close to dialing it in but the pedal is still new to me. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I think that's the DCUK preset in action there.
Two for One Meal Deal! \m/
Don't bore us, get us to the chorus... 👍
Seriously great tones Leon, spot on, thanks
Hahaha exactly!
This really reminds me of Def Leppard Hysteria album (oops showed my age haha) i mean CD. Just love this chorus.
The best!
How’s this compare to the Fulltone TERC?
Just bought one two days ago, loved the sound for about 35 mins, then it died. 45 min drive to return it.about 45.00 dollars worth of gas into this purchase, not sure I into purchasing another. Really bummed. Wanted so much to love this peddle......
DAYUM!!!
Hi Leon! this one or the micropitch delay for lead solos....?
thanks!
Shredder😎
Bought it and have been using your preset for a few sessions! Question, I personally have been running this through the FX loop of a Roland JC40, what's your recommended hook up for this?
That's awesome to hear! The JC40 is stereo right? In which case user both outs on the pedal for ultimate luuuuush
My buddy is looking for a great chorus pedal for his simple board-into-amp rig, and he loves the Tricera on my H90 in stereo, but we're wondering how viable this would be in a mono setup?
Should sound fine. I personally prefer a BOSS CE-1/CE-2 style chorus in mono
@LeonTodd Yeah, I totally get that. Those are classics for good reason.
"I don't need another pedal... I _don't need another pedal..._ "
Great demo Leon. Now that they are no longer expanding the H9, are Eventide now going to keep releasing individual pedals based on H9 algorithms ?
Thanks mate! I actually have no idea what they've got planned, but there's a few H9 algos that I think would be awesome in this format (Undulator, Pitchfuzz, Vintage Delay).
@@LeonTodd yep, some of the delays and verbs would be awesome.
I wonder how this unit sounds compared to the h9, rack units and factor series pedals, cause the last one of these the pitch one to my ears did not sound as good as the legacy equipment it was emulating or the h9 and pitch factor.
What chorus pedal mimics the tc electronic 1210 the best if you have tried it that is??
What is the routing?
Guitar into pedal, pedal out stereo to front of amps?
What is the name of the Van Halen inspired preset ? Thanks in advance for any help 🤟🏻
DCUK
Leon, for 80ees like pitch detune, would you prefer this or the PS6?
This
@@LeonTodd Thank you!
Please tell me this has a way to do the Eventide Undulater effect???? Used to have a Modfactor, and been considering buying another 1 for that specific effect, but it didn't have the trichorus effect, of both are together, I'm sold.
Undulator is it's own weird and wonderful thing - a Multitap delay modulated with a trem. I really, really would love if they did an undulator pedal.
It was my guess that this was going to be an Undulator standalone pedal-it is their classic, unique modulation algorithm. You are helping to justify their choice in this video, though.
I also miss the undulator so much since I got rid of my modfactor, same here!
Damn! I should buy this instead of Boss CE-2Waza. Very disappointed with CE-2.
Ha, I’m thinking the same thing. Though, I wasn’t disappointed until I saw this vid 😂 One of the worst things about the CE-2 is no mix/blend knob. Where are the knobs?!
Today Leon called me a legend, what have you done with your life ?
Bought the pedal yesterday. Could not power up using Strymon Zuma and Ojai power supplies. The unit only powered up with the accompanying power adapter. Am I missing something here? Anyone here experiencing the same problem?
I have it and it powered normally with a One Spot and daisy chain
Like the name says (tri) is it a 3 voice chorus? It sounds more than 3 voices .
3 voices BUT the phase relationship between them, and the ability to add detune, makes it sound massive
Is this a bucket brigade chorus or digital?
This vs the Strymon Ola?
Strangely I'm yet to try the ola. Definitely a Strymon I should check out, along with the Brigadier.
The lack of a menu where you can tweak and save presets makes these pedals not even usable to me. A total copout by eventide
A wicked chorus pedal and no Alex Lifeson riffs?
Tsk Tsk Tsk.
LOL!!!
