I personally enjoy my Reate EXO-U. Ya it's $80 but it's fun and easy to use. Granted you live in a place where you can legally carry it. And I don't need a torx to change it out.
Gideonstactical had one that constantly had the blade screw constantly backing out and then the blade went flying very dangerously. Does yours do that?
I have a question. Does the blade rock back and forth in the holder? If you grab the tip of the utility blade and wiggle it up and down. Does it move or is it tight?
Its a aluminum handle ball bearings civivi fit and finish button lock tool. Compared what youd way for the steel blade on the regular elementum price is reasonable.
Love Civivi. But they fucked up on this... You need to have a torx bit on you at all times to change the blade, not a simple flat or philips where you can find anywhere... 🤦
If the threads are proprietary I agree. If it's a standard thread just swap it out. Then you don't even need to cry about loosing the screw because everyone seems to for some reason.
Since it doens't have blade storage anyways, keeping a tiny torx allen key with your spare blades is extremely trivial, and tox will allow you to torque it down more (which believe me, is necessary for this locking mechanism) without stripping than phillips would.

Best review about this knife I have seen (and I have seen a lot ;). Thank you!
They’re bloody awesome. I’ve got the green one and have bought the grey one as a gift for a friend.
AWESOME KNIFE TRULY 🔪

if Civivi takes this concept and adapts it to the vision's shark lock, I'm done, that's the last knife I need.

It's tight as a tiger and strong as a bull
I like it but it's a bit expensive
Best ever love mine
An expensive utility knife that needs a tool to change the blade. Yeah that’s exactly what I want.
Did you check the rediculous price?
Good tools cost money. Price out a decent pocket knife. It'll set ya back a bit

Looks small
Yup. That's kinda the point. Small amd light but heavy duty. EDC ready
$42.50. I'll pass.
You can get it for $38.50 on White mountain knives with a 10% code. Worth every dollar, one of the best EDC knives I've ever used.
I paid $75 each for mine and they’re worth every cent.
