I feel that the best of any comedy is when comedians are laughing at themselves. British comedians are generally known for their hilarious ability to laugh at themselves. I don't personally count Benny Hill as one of those comedians. To me, it's fortunate that his performances are now part of history books - fondly remembered by some, but I was not personally a fan.

This is only one of the racist and misogynistic sketches that helped cancel benny hill. Well deserved. I never understood why people watched his program. I just came here to say this, and leaving immediately after.
