ok so we made a story about this song: so on the copy its in memory of a teacher and we think this song is representative of his life. in the beginning its really fast and adventerous, and there's subtle but fun moments. theres also uplifting and almost congratulating moments. but then as the song progresses it gets slower and much more downbeat, as if the person is dying. then at the end theres one last uplifting moment, as if its the persons last breath and their thank yous before passing. it could also be the person thinking about all the memories until they pass away.....
Omg Grace! What the fudge are you doing on this side of RUclips? Good to see ya pal! How are you? How's life? Gosh I haven't seen you in forever! Dang it's really been 5 hours! Wow! Okay see ya Monday!
played this in 8th grade. our class wasn't the best and we didn't get to have a concert due to covid, however this is still one of my fave pieces and was so much fun
This is such an awesome song! I played this last year in 8th grade as a second violin, it was so fun XD we played a bit slower lol, but we did pretty great! We got one of the highest scores from the judges :)
Mental practicing. I have a chair test on Friday and a concert on Saturday(same orchestra, it’s my district honors orchestra.) I’m a second and I really like the part. WE GET A SOLI!! Anyway, I’m really hoping to get first chair. UPDATE: I got seventh chair, so I’m the seventh best second in the district! Go me! * crickets chirping *
Playing this in orchestra. It's so awesome
Looking back, I feel like this piece is the one that made the judges go "WOW, UNANIMOUS SUPERIOR"
The composer of this piece, Richard Meyer, conducts at my school. I'm serious.

Yea but he retired

Literally the only piece that gives me goosebumps
Ending still makes me cry. Played this in orchestra in middle school, 25 now.
