I love hearing this song, hate playing it. This song was written for my school and dedicated to us. In 2011 it was played at the Michigan Music Conference by the high school orchestra, from what I was told, they did amazing.
My friend and I are arranging this song as a small group of 9-10 people to perform at our last orchestra concert of the year! We are the two first violins and it’s absolutely beautiful! We’re having so much fun with it!
What if it's hard and easy at the same time? Like relativity of time, to someone traveling at a much faster speed time moves more slowly in relative relation to someone moving slower.
We played this at our assessments this year, and our conductor asked us who wanted to conduct this by ourself.... I couldn’t jump on that offer any quicker😂😂 best 7 minutes of orchestra in my whole life
after four years, how do you feel about this piece now? or have you given up on orchestra- in which case do you still listen to orchestral compositions? right now I am a sophomore in symphonette, and this piece is indeed challenging to play but extremely fun to be expressive with at times.

Not necessarily. I don't think they care about the recordings, as long as I don't make money of them or give sheet music away for free. Which I do neither of, hence the ad free channel.

The timing is really fun and challenging for this piece, definitely one of the most enjoyable pieces I’ve played in a while
as a bass player, I'd rather play something challenging than overly easy, it's not often that we get to play intricate parts

Everyone in my high school’s Orchestra are Richard Meyer fans, we’ve been playing his music since probably 5th or 6th grade!
