Finally a song where everyone gets a really nice part, with the last 2 years of playing Cello (my experience in orchestra) it’s always like:
    Violins “OMG ITS SO HARD!!!”
Viola, Cello, Bass “No we just have to play quarter notes in D, F#, A, And C.....” (Picked random Notes)

    • @leoraeisenberger7076
      @leoraeisenberger7076 6 лет назад +26

I’m pretty sure the high schoolers played this in their first concert. It was so cool! All I remember is the part where the violins play notes over all four strings and then some really high notes.

I play bass: I'm not gonna say it's easy, but it definitely is not hard. I picked it up in two days, while practicing at full tempo. I'm not even playing this for a concert, I just love it way to much to not try it out. High notes and solo are really the hardest and only hard part besides that one bass melody. Good luck if you're playing this for a concert :)

    Emerald falcon
    0:00-1:11
    1:30-2:00
Flying through the eye of a storm the emerald falcon dodges the green lightning soaring fast, and diving through it all, as carelessly as possible he scoops up hail in his talons and examines the wonders of the eye of the storm, he is free up here without rules and limits, he can rule up here and be the only. No one test him, he is the only storm rider, his green feathers glow in the green storm.
    1:12- 1:30
but things are getting dangerous, pieces of metal fly past him, he hit!!! But repairing. Furious he spits lighting at the ground and swoops up out of the storm, blood flies and he needs to get air, so he breaks his bonds and soars upwards and tastes the air
He goes right back into the cloud then, thinks of a familiar sight, the moon
    2:00-3:40
he hasn’t see the moon since a long time, its so pretty up here and he see’s everything up in the clouds, flapping around the moon, carelessly. He feels right at home watching the farms pass by and the cattle screech as he ducks under neath them, feeling a strange feeling.
    feels
    3:45
Suddenly he is shot, lighting crackles in his veins and he dives deep onto the earth spreading his wrath lighting forests on fire searching for his attackers, A storm crackles ahead, and breaks open the sky, ripping apart every thing in sight.
    4:45
Now he's caught them and he disappears into the clouds. this was the last time they were seen.
I wrote this just by listening to this...

At my intermediate school (7th grade) I played the cello for the first time just barely learning how to do the basic stuff, then when I transferred to 8th grade at the middle school I had to learn this. I went from Hot Cross Buns to this is less than a year.....
I'm actually kinda proud of myself XD

And I'm a viola, so I was happy that the viola part wasn't just the same note over and over again like most of the songs we played.
