i have a cub cadet 102 that ive been using for over 15 years and i just picked up a well optioned cub cadet 104 with the headlight/taillights, creaper gear, hydraulic lift and the factory cigarette lighter😂😂
When I was a kid back in the late seventies my maternal grandfather had a yellow and white Cub. Around 1980 he traded it for one of the 82 series. You could certainly say that the IHC Cubs were the beginning of my garden tractor obsession.. although it took maybe three decades to really set in... 😅
Great video and infromation, thanks. We have two Cub Cadet Originals awaiting restoration and once done I am sure they will be good for another 60 years. I really like the transmission design on the early Cub Cadet models
The later MTD machines are still built really heavy duty. The 3000 series, 2000 and 2500 series were heavy duty all weighing just about 800-1000lbs. Cast iron rear ends with strong hydros and big Kohler engines.
In last weeks video, I talk a lot about the John Deere 318. I also did this video awhile back for Case/Ingersoll 👍 ruclips.net/video/BLaYg7yzoQY/видео.htmlsi=a7S86MumIMi5hsDW
i have a very late production 782 for International. i love the red cubs👍👍, my brain just wont let me own a yellow tractor lol, i hate yellow. im within 400 of the last 782 according to my ser#. im about to repower mine, its a KT17 series1 and just quit charging last week.
I got a 1974 109 that my dad purchased new. I swapped the 10hp for a freshly rebuilt 14 hp many years ago. Tractor still looks and runs great!
@@daver6564 Awesome history and memories there I bet 👍

@@JoshAllen17Goated Great info 👍
You should do a video on the John Deere 300 series. I think that would be a cool video!
Or one on the Case/Case Ingersoll garden tractor history.

How about Montgomery ward or western auto parts wizard garden tractors?
Good idea 👍
I have a cub cadet LT1042 and it works great. Its a shame that cub cadets now adays are super cheap and un reliable
@@alistairr.9656 I agree. Just about every major brand went that route unfortunately. Definitely a shame 😢
This tractors looks solid not like toys filled of electronics like modern garden tractors which are only lawn mower tractors...
