I took my test Jan10,2024 , and passed !!🎊 I completed my hours in 2018 and didn’t have the resources to take a refresher .I PASSED 6yrs later after completing school by watching all state board videos on your page ! Can you please let us know since PSI allows students. to take the exams both practical and written exams in the privacy of their homes is there a different set up that they should be mindful of? For all that are estheticians, manicurist, barber
Hi The little information that I do know is based on students feedback that have taken them from home. Students must download a software to their phone or computer whichever device they will be using that has a Camera to take the test. Room must be clear of distractions and have a table (working space) no one besides the person taking the test is allowed in the room and they will have the students “scan the room” before beginning the test, any signs of interference or assistance during the test can lead to the student getting ejected from the test. Yes you are being monitored via camera for both exams . I believe instructions are sent to the students before the test with all information from psi . Hope this helps.

I do hope that you will do some more new updated videos I love it thank you so much for all that you do? I hope that you will start doing some for the instructors training questions and answers whether individuals are going to be an esthetician instructor or manicuring, cosmetology instructor. since one exam🤔

@@dirty727 Texas deregulated the Instructor License September 1st 2021
You have to have nothing in the room you are testing in other than you kit, a clock a table for set up and your computer device. That’s all
