I had once asked a friend of mine who believed in Karma about how do they account for kids who are born horribly disabled or kids with extremely dire diseases (like kids going through cancer). My friend replied that those kids must have sinned in their previous life. You can justify a lot of crap based on the concept of Karma (like discrimination on the basis of birth as well).

I think it is good that your channel has only a few subscribers. One you are able to make videos like this boldly. Secondly you are able to have discussions with the commenters which always feels so good to the few people who see your videos and take time to engage with them. Quality is always better than Quantity.

I think we definitely can not say anything about karma, reincarnation or god. It is simply we don't know😅. Whether these things exist or not.

I believe In Karma, but not in the traditional sense, science says every action has an equal and opposite reaction. This is a very oversimplification to explain how I interpret Karma.

We’re projecting an anthropic view upon everything. I know atheists who do the same to nature.(not necessarily consciously)

  • @ApoorvSaurabh

Really Sorry to say but YOU & Many didn’t understand the concept of Karma, and oversimplified it

The modern idea of Karma as a moral law is quite new and really is from the influence of post Mahavira Jainism. Older ideas are based on action and causality but early Advaita philosophers already had the idea that the bird flying at the same time as the coconut falling from a tree is a false causality (superstition).

Deep deep shit. Totally agree. You gave words to my scattered thoughts. Love & peace.

I respect that title. It says what many refuse to admit for some odd reason. Perhaps because no specific god is named? Eastern religions have been a go-to for many Western religious drop-outs who want something a little less rigid. But, to me, the theory of Karma & reincarnation is just as frightening as any of the rest. Personal or impersonal makes no difference when it comes to god (or any supernatural intelligence that judges, etc.). It actually gets very little attention when you look about online. Atheists tend to address personal gods. So who's dealing with this less defined, but just as potent, material that you've brought up here? Not many at all. Thank you for this upload.

Absolutely brilliant👍👍👍.... What you just said is said by gaudapada in karika... Upanishads doesn't believe in karma either. I read that on ramkrishna mission library. Ashtavakra also says this and also shankara.

Man you deserve million subscriber 👍

  • @saketkumar4972

That was a very nice way to think. Very simple but no-one thinks like that. I don't know why.

  • @unknown9288
